I have been told that the way days were counted back then was
Part of Friday was one day.
All of Saturday was another day.
Part of Sunday was another day.

They didn’t have to be full days.

That is a construct of religion. The Bible says 3 days. “for just as JONAH WAS IN THE STOMACH OF THE SEA MONSTER FOR THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS, so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights”. He arose on Sunday, it had to be Wednesday He was crucified, because of the way the Jews counted days and nights.

I’ve heard that too.

If it was ‘three days and three nights’, does that still apply?

So I think he may have been crucified on Wed.

But I don’t fight about it. Maybe discuss in a calm manner.
