Hebrew calendar
Holy crap!!!
?
Jesus was crucified on a Wednesday.. Fact. 3 days and 3 nights. Saturday. Sabbath.
why would we use the Hebrew calendar if they do not believe that Jesus is the son of the Lord?
Forget about "Christmas" and "Easter" those are made up calendar days NOT in the Hebrew calendar.....imho
Lord Father, I pray that I am not one of the two. Yet if it is Your Will, then so be it. In Your Holy Name, Amen.
I have been told that the way days were counted back then was
Part of Friday was one day.
All of Saturday was another day.
Part of Sunday was another day.
They didn’t have to be full days.
Everybody with an internet connection is a religious expert.
You are correct. I did not want to hear that.
.
Their Gregorian calendar didn’t even exist at that time. Are you claiming Jesus had a time machine?
Where’s a rabbit with a pancake on its head when you need it?
1 Samuel 16🍿11. And Samuel said to Jesse, Are here all your children? And he said, There remains still the youngest, and, behold, he keeps the sheep; And Samuel said to Jesse, Send and fetch him; for we will not sit down (נָסֹב turn around) till he comes here:
12. And he sent, and brought him in; And he was red haired, with beautiful eyes, and good looking; And the Lord said, Arise, anoint him; for this is he:
That is a construct of religion. The Bible says 3 days. “for just as JONAH WAS IN THE STOMACH OF THE SEA MONSTER FOR THREE DAYS AND THREE NIGHTS, so will the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights”. He arose on Sunday, it had to be Wednesday He was crucified, because of the way the Jews counted days and nights.
This confused me too. You are exactly right.
On a related note, is it inevitable that the way we count years will be ‘addressed’ by the hateful left? BC/AD is a Christian concept.
No link to the Hebrew calendar you reference?
Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. And they entered in, and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.Luke 24:1-3.
He rose on a Sunday.
