I don't want to keep it up either. That's partly why I'm trying to hire another guy.

The answer is "NO". No paid overtime, no paid regular time either. ;-)

Anyone know some current FReepers at Fort Benning?
A poster made a claim in another thread and I need to see if I can verify or debunk it.

Speaking of flames, I went to extinguish the candles in the home of the couple for whom I'm doing a series of projects while they're out of town. I did not--the candles are part of their shrine to their son who killed himself last fall.
I couldn't understand why a friend quit running her website which normally featured news articles and postings by a bunch of friends--then I was surprised to discover she was recovering from a brain tumor--Now, thanks to over thirty radiation treatments, she's back from the goner list to her doctor proudly displaying a "beautiful" MRI.
It's hard to keep up; not hard to pray.
[Forty-plus years ago] A friend and I discovered a syringe of antifreeze shot through a candle flame would engulf his science fair robots in fireballs.
Apparently Howard Dean mistakenly used one of those instead of his thorazine-filled syringe, firing him up [too much] knocking him out of contention last year.
Mm mm mm mm mm Toasty!
And speaking of "seared"--anybody seen the Cambodian Candidate?

Evening Phil Dragoo.
Tried watching the news tonight, way to depressing, murder, dismemberments, child torture, tell all books, etc. You're right it's not hard to pray now-a-days.

Like most FReepers I'm a news junkie, but it's getting to the point where I just can't watch it or read my local rag (Mpls (red)Star Tribune), the spin is amazing. It's not so much what the print/show as what they don't.

I think we have earned the right to our own reality--and to "foist" it on anyone within reach.
The days of "the news" [Ministry of Truth and its zombies] dictating our reality are so last millenium.
In my world, the sky is blue, Kerry is a schmuck needing a to-the-moon-Alice, and it's okay for Team America to liberate planet earth.
Even if it means pushing Dan Rather's face into warm cat poo.
