Liddy Comes Under Fire for Racy Calendar
Talon News ^ | 1/6/2004 | Jeff Gannon

WASHINGTON (Talon News) -- Nationally syndicated radio talk show host and author G. Gordon Liddy recently released his annual "Stacked and Packed" calendar amidst controversy over its content. Despite this year's edition being the 10th in a series, the reaction to this one has been stronger than in previous years.

The calendars feature scantily clad women with weapons and motorcycles. In an exclusive New Year's Day interview Liddy told Talon News he was motivated to create the calendar to raise money for charity and "put a stick in the eye of the liberals who were upset that I was on the air."

Liddy admits that he purposely tries to publish the most politically incorrect calendar.

"When I was a kid during World War II, every garage and machine shop had a pin-up calendar," Liddy said, noting that few such calendars exist today.

"We started with a girlie calendar," Liddy explains.

From there Liddy points out that because he is a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment, "all of the models would be holding firearms, especially if we can get fully automatic weapons."

Liddy was still dissatisfied until he thought of one more way to antagonize liberals.

"To make it complete, this year each of the models will be posed with motorcycles, the last unregulated internal combustion engine left," Liddy said.

Liddy himself appears on the cover with his own Harley-Davidson and gun along with his naked executive producer.

The controversy surrounding the calendar has produced a boycott movement embodied by www.boycottliddycalendar.com. No group claims to be responsible for the website but it has links to mostly hard-left sites.

The content of the calendar seems to have made others nervous, too. Liddy said he was cancelled from appearances on the Fox News Channel's "Fox and Friends" and "Your World with Neil Cavuto" because the calendar was "too hot."

Liddy conducts a talent search throughout the year asking listeners to send pictures of models with weapons. A professional photographer selects the finalists, and the women are signed to contracts. Donations to charity are generated at calendar signings featuring the models. The calendar, whose models can be viewed at www.stackedandpacked.com can be purchased from the website.

Liddy has written four books, the latest of which is "When I Was A Kid, This Was A Free Country," a reminiscent view of his youth in America.

Even those women don't look like that. Their pictures
are retouched, most are plastic breasts and noses, fans
are blowing hair just so. Any fat dangle is retouched
outta there. Of course, in real life, a lot of powder &
paint helps the illusion. No real human women need apply
here. Plastic Barbies only. On second thought, who WANTS
to apply. This has very little to do with conservatism.
They all gonna get old. They all gonna die. Just like all
the rest of us.

I would marry each and every one of those women.

Repeatedly.

Until we needed oils.

For several years, B-Movie actress Nikki Fritz was a calendar regular. I still have one of the ones she was in. :)

"Is Liddy right here, or wrong?"

Where is it written that though shalt not pop a smile, nor torment satan's disciples by openly ignoring them?(given in #26)

Dillon Reloading's *Blue Press* also often has some awfully cute covergirls [who also appear inside the pages as well] and they've got a pretty nice calender offering, too.

Another nice thing about the *Blue Press*: It's free.

Yeah, yeah, they've got clothes on. The guns don't.

I too heard the b@lls stories...he was describing them proudly as being the size of "grapefruits" or something pre-surgery.

Didn't they get that large because they got infected from all his excessive shaving and waxing?

"Now, tell me FReeper ladies, would this be some kind of a turn-on for most women?"

Reminds me of the joke where this dork goes to a beach on vacation thinking he's gonna see sand, sun, and girls. The first day at the beach, he notices a lifeguard hunk with scores of ladies hanging on him, so he asks the lifeguard what was his secret. The lifeguard tells him, "first, you've gotta rid yourself of that "long-handle" bathing suit and get you a skimpy bikini type. Then go by the grocer and get a baking potato and put inside. The next day, the guy did it and the girls flocked to the opposite side of the beach. Furious, the guy approached the lifeguard and said, "I've done all you told me to do and the ladies still run the other way! What is going on!" The lifeguard said, "You need to put the potato in the front..."

"...is being a liberal moralist an oxymoron?"

I think that would produce an oxy-(deprived)-moron.

No offense intended to morons.

I just don't get it. The women, well, I guess they're okay. But this isn't a throwback to the pinup girls of the 40s and 50s IMHO. There was something left to the imagination back then. I have to disagree with Liddy. This is tasteless.

And the fact that now I have an image of Dolt in my head should get you some form of punishment ;)

So basically, it was just like California today except the women had real breasts.

ROTFLMAO!

Even those women don't look like that.

No kidding. If you want to see what a REAL woman looks like (sans all the accessories), just visit the campus of UC/Berkeley. (Article today about chemcial components from make-up being found in breast tumors...think women will quit wearing make-up?)
