available from www.theEC store.com, which also sells split-crotch pants and underwear for infants
Does anyone else find this concept a bit disturbing?

My kids were all potty trained by 2, my wife is an absolute wizard at it.
However, her method is impossible without 2 things: Stay-at-home mom and very in tune with the children.
We didn't start training them until about 13 months, though.

Corporate officers at Pampers (the baby diaper company) have released a report that found the babies who were never dipered as infants became incontinent before puberty.

In America most women go back to work about 6 weeks after their children are born and they dont even see them for 10 hurs out of the day. makes this pretty hard to do,even if it works.

This is not a trend that I want to see catch on in the U.S.!

This is "training" the parents if you ask me. Another way for the hyper-educated to feel superior.
MY little Snookie never wore diapers!...blah blah blah""Toilet training" happens in one day - its the intersection of the day a child has the ability with the day he or she has the desire to do so.
With the arrival of my twins, my mantra became, "when they're 21, they'll both be able to use the toilet, tie their shoes, ride a bike, and no one will remember how long it took them to get there." (And no one will remember what my house looked like either!) I played with my kids every second I could. It was much more fun to chase them around the house yelling, "WHo Stinks???" and have them run away giggling while accusing the other of being the offender than it would be to worry about "looking for their cues" all day long.
