I am on the older side of the military now...38. lol. So I can guarantee that an extreme number of military people don’t even knows who she is and even less know even one of her songs. I actually have no idea what she sang. I might have heard a song at some point, but if you offered me one million dollars on the spot to name just one song, I would lose the million and I predict 90 percent of the military would as well.
What a dishonest woman Joan Baez is. She despises the troops, and pretends to want to “welcome” them back.
apparently Mellencamp had fantasies of being interviewed by Dan Rather at Walter Reed.....Rather was also barred.....BRAVO to Walter Reed!
Fixed it.
Ol’ John has been livin’ in those Pink Houses too long. Based on his opinions at your link it seems he could move right into Rosie’s abandoned seat at the View.
... 'able to live my life of wealth and ease on the backs of far better men and women who stood ready in the night to protect my soft life by risking theirs...'
Not to mention the 50,000 plus Marine, Army, Air Force, Navy, Coast Guard, National Guard and Reserve dead turning over in their graves.
All in all, I sure do miss Bob Hope this morning. God bless that man and all the great people who made such sacrifices for our troops.
I’m sure the troops at Walter Reed were devastated at not hearing her warbling “Joe Hill.”
Joan Baez is a f***ing communist slut. Screw you, Joan Baez.

She and Donovan rode on Bob Dylan’s coat tails. About all there is to know.
Wasn’t Joan’s father with the UN or UNICEF or maybe USAID?
That's what you get for swallowing the MSM lies. These commie liberals just don't get it. Our military wants nothing to do with the liberal traitors.
I wouldn’t walk either one of them across the street to a dog fight even if I knew they would win it.
Her biggest hit was probably “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down”.
Also in Cheney’s words (to the Pres. when calling NY Times reporter an A##hole)—”Big time!

Old enough to know better, you would think.
I can understand how one 40 years younger, as she was during Viet Nam, might become enamoured of liberal ideals, but as one matures and takes a look at cherished beliefs and the falsehoods they are based on, one is obliged to make some changes.
Her limp concession to her treatment of Viet Nam vets (like Hanoi Jane's) does not qualify as modification.
