I just got home safe. What a day.

I had to evacuate. Just got home. Waiting to see if I am going to break down or not. I will commit my recollections to paper, and will make them available sometime soon, for what they are worth. I am sick and stunned. Good grief. I had a lot of are you ok messages and emails and freepmails waiting for me at home, and prayers too. I thank you all for that.

You folks are really nice. It warms my heart. I am drinking heavily. Sam Adams. We are a great nation. We'll be fine. I just feel so bad for the people who lost loved ones today. For me, it was an emotionally intense, insane day, fraught with danger, anxiety, and fear. But tonight I am home with my wife. I am so thankful for that I cannot tell you. Horrifying day. I watched the second tower crumble and fall to the sound of screams of horror. Just unbelievable. I am very thankful also for all the kind thoughts and prayers. I am truly touched by it. Thanks.

As far as I know, this is the first article on FR to note today's terrorist attacks on the USA. It gives a remarkable testimony to the events as they unfolded. One may also wish to note the other articles that appeared on FR just before and after this one.

The very least I can do is bump it a little in case someone may wish to note and save the same.
