i heard a construction guy interviewed on CNN who was
on a roof a block away and saw people being blown out of
the building.

that may be graphic, but this must be avenged.

I'm here as well. My mother, who is from New York and still has many relatives there, is on her way to my office. Needless-to-say, the 81 year old dear is rather shook up. No Fox News at the office so I'm suffering through reports on CBS and ABC. My prayers are with everyone with family in the area. Just heard locally that planes have landed here that were diverted here as the nearest airport. They must have had all planes land at nearest airport, not just ended takeoffs. All airports now reported closed and incoming overseas flights diverted to Canada.

People are not being allowed to enter airport grounds to pick up passengers. all passengers must leave airport by public transport.

Wing's of Gold is safe on the ground.

Several of my family members were flying home from a family reunion yesterday (including me) and all are safe. But I can't help but feel anger, rage and pain for those who lost their lives and family members today.

Don't worry if they are not on the train. All tunnels and bridges in and out of Manhatten have been closed. They will have to stay a while. I have watched reportes onthe ground only 2 or 3 blocks from the towers. I think they must be safe if they are a dozen blocks away.

Fox reporting that one side of 'E' ring of pentagon gone. Fire in 'D' and 'C' Rings still out of control.

Newt was just on FOX (audio) making the point that this is absolutely bigger than Pearl Harbor, and should be responded to as such. I agree with this - we are, in my view, AT WAR. I hope our government views it as such.
