A congressional expert on terrorism said there are thousands of well-trained Mideastern terrorists in the United States who are capable of "spectacular" acts of violence.

Two terrorism experts said they have never seen such estimates from an official government source; others declined to comment.

Perhaps the Muslim community in America, the 3,000,000 or so, should inspect their own ranks and HELP rout out the cowardly bin laden terrorist thugs. Who would know better?

The fact that the Muslims in this country have not contributed one iota to the efforts to weed out the terrorists, and have only whined about profiling, speaks volumes.

If they kill 90% of Americans, our population would be reduced to the level the United Nations has established for the sustainable development of the continental U.S.

Maybe then they'll get serious.

One thing for everyone to keep in mind about this whole terrorist situation: These people are unlike Americans who demand instant gratification, instant calculated resolution and quick heavy handed responses. These people are patient, they will wait years or even another generation to retaliate. Look at Israel, they knew who was responsible for the Disco bombing, they waited years for the opportunity to snipe the perp. The Afganis are no different, they will quietly preach their hatred and vengence to their kin, when American is complacent, they will strike again. Our leaders need to be planning for this kind of warfare, at home and abroad. These people don't live for the same things that us Americans do, they cook & eat simply to fuel their bodys, cooking isn't an art form or something to relish, their homes are merely shelter from the elements not monuments to their personal accomplishments, they breed simply to repopulate, they swear off Western ways and live to hate, spread hatred and avenge the death of their kin. They are not a "civilized" people. You could think of them as thousands of Ted Kazinski's. A scary thing to consider.

on the whole, it seems like Yawn and fun as usual has set in alarmingly much and alarmingly fast.

And this alarms me, too. We have to be on alert, diligent, in a heightened state of awareness--otherwise it's going to be another sucker-punch. The reports that 700+ suspects have been rounded up are just one step in the right direction (how many incidents have been thwarted because the designated perpetrators are currently behind bars?), but apparently there are thousands more just itchin' to take their place.

(What opened my eyes to the 30-second-attention-span generation is when a young lady across the street, who is married to an Air Force NCO, complained loudly that her soap operas were still being pre-empted two days after the WTC attacks. I was crying buckets of tears, worried about my military husband, concerned that our loaded-with-chemical-weapons-military-post might be targeted, and watching as much news as I could, and she was mad because the sitcoms and make-believe world of Hollywood wasn't being allowed to usurp her attention. Heaven help us.)

"I don't think anyone has put out such a figure," Ibrahim Hooper said. "We believe it's offensive and inaccurate. Does he know something that the American government and its entire law enforcement apparatus doesn't know? According to Mr. Bodansky, there's a terrorist hiding under every bed."

Well, now, we can boild this whole issue down to two schools of thought.
Those who instinctively believe it to be true and support means of preventing further Mass Murder and those, like this agent provocateur, who believe that there is no such threat.

The question then is, at which point does it become clear what is actually the case? after 100 more deaths? 1000? 100,000?
And what shall we do with those who played down the danger and allowed the carnage to continue? Do they have quick tickets out of town?
Is the strategy to keep us so busy domestically that we are no longer able to respond internationally?
Paranoia is not very useful or productive, but neither is pollyanna-ism. Serious reflection is definitely in order.

PC needs to be one of the first casualties of the war on terrorism.

And "multiculturalism" the second.
The thing that made the U.S. unique and strong is the influx of eager immigrants from all over the world who came here to become Americans. To assimilate.

Hyphenated Americans was the first clue that something was amiss. We ignored it. We continue ignoring it at the cost of our very existence as a free and unique country.
Multiculturalism was the visible manifestation of the infamous "rope" that we sold the forces of evil with which they are now in the process of hanging us.

Oh, they know all right. And when the state of emergency finally arrives, they should be shot on sight.
The immediate problem though is assessing the magnitude of the problem.

Debating whether it exists or not is simply whistling past the graveyard (and the graveyard has already made moves against us).
Is the number of "Muslims" amongst us 3,000,000? 9,000,000? 11,000,000? I have seen all those figures used, the higher ones by the muslims worldwide, to intimidate us into inaction.

So how many are there?

But overall, I think the main reason why Arabs in terrorist organizations volunteer to come to the United States is because they want to live in the United States.

Yes they do want to be in the United States----they love it here and they love our money but that is all, and they want to control the United States. They do intend to put the US under Islamic rule.

Only when the sheeple rise up and demand that we start sending these people home and make it an election issue will the politicos do anything about it. Reality on this front is sad.

Elections might be too late. If things get bad quickly, I think we can see by this week that we cannot count on our leaders in Washington DC who went into hiding. I think right now they are only worried about their own supplies of antibiotics and how they can save their own lives, they don't really care about the people like us.

The situation is clear. For reasons unfathomable to me (although I am sure they involve money) our government is going to sacrifice many more thousands of us before it gains the courage to clamp down on the stinking terrs in our midst.

This should come as no surprise, since "government" has been doing it for 50 years: sacrifing American lives for political or diplomatic maneuvering. A horrible use of war, and a cynical form of "leadership".

So long as "soldiers" and conscripts were the victims it fueled the selective blindness. Now that the victims are citizens in-country, a watershed change is about to take place, for we can not take it as a country and survive.

War must be uncompromising and relentless, and the goal is to win unconditional or to withdraw.
No more refuges in North Korea, No more avoiding Haiphong Harbors and Hanois, no more dropping food in between bombings to prove we are "good and compassionate" (to whom for God's sake).

Sooner or later we must make the choice. Are we in it to survive? or to win a "popularity" contest?
If is us against the world, I say bring the world on and settle it once and for all.
Pax Americana? I think the time is past to fear labels.

Now that the war has come home, let's embrace it to win, not to prolong it, or to attempt to push its resolution onto our children and grandchildren; For the war is real.
It's only a question of how it will take to us accept it and deal with it.

I'm not sure the Muslims actually mean to kill the rest of us. I think it's possible they intend to kill our leaders and then replace them and impose Islamic law. I think they are here to take over the US, the way they think the Jews now have control. Everything they've written shows they think the US is Zionist controlled and everything would be better if it was Muslim controlled instead. I think they are deliberately aiming for those institutions they think the Jews have control of. I'm really not convinced they intend a mass slaughter of us ---just those of us who resist.

have you written your senators about this, i have written to them all, well, except hillary! keep bombarding them with email about this.

This is a wasted exercise.
We should not need to demand from our representatives the obvious.

What will get their attention is a grass-roots movement nationwide to recall or impeach them all for criminal dereliction of duty, and replace them with representatives who will enforce our immigration laws, deport as quickly as possible all Middle Eastern Muslims and other muslims here who are not citizens, and also deportation of all M.E. citizens who are unable or unwilling to pledge first allegiance to this country.

How about the hundreds of thousands of people running around with expired visas that we have no idea where they are??

FOR SURE.

Can you imagine that there are people making themselves sick with distress because:

--the dye on their poodle's hair was too dark/light a shade or a tiny bit the wrong hue?
--Their nearest seller was out of their favorite beverage and they had to DRIVE 2-3 times the usual block and a half.
--it sprinkled a bit on their walking-their-dog trip around the block at the end of their day an hour before bedtime and they whined endlessly about it messing their hair. --They just couldn't decide whether to buy the blue or the red dress and just had to leave the store because they became so upset trying to decide. --They were going out to a fine restaurant to celebrate their anniversary and the husband refused to surprise the wife--knowing she didn't handle surprises well when they took her control away--and insisted she choose where to go. She pouted through the whole meal and whined all the way home.

---------------

And I've forgotten some of the MORE shallow ones.

When people are falling dead on every block; food is hard to find and conveniences are mostly nonexistent--some folk may rise to the occasion. . . and the others will waste away in catatonia if they aren't dispatched for the main course at a Bar-B-Q.

Many people have had dreams and visions of people in the U.S. waiting for relatives to die so they could have something to eat. . . . and of others not waiting.

It is time to get real serious. We have aliens living amongst us that want to kill as many of us as possible.

They may just continue targetting the government, the media, and I think their other targets will be universities and Hollywood. I think this is about a take-over, a conquest of the US by the Muslims. If you look at the history of Mexico, an established civilization was taken over by a handful of Spaniards and with relatively little bloodshed who went in, replaced the old kings with new kings, replaced the pyramids with Catholic Churches. It didn't take killing everyone and repopulating the country, a conquest is different.

I think the way the Muslims think, is that the US is now under control by the Jews, they can kill them off and replace them with Muslims They believe the Jews control us by controlling the economy, the culture through hollywood, the media and academia. It's what they've been saying for years.

Looks like they're ready to impeach themselves by running off to hide under their beds. We need leaders like the Crusaders had, politically incorrect leaders like Queen Isabella of Spain, who weren't afraid to save their civilization.

If you support Christian principles you are labeled a homophobe, if you are against terrorism you are labeled anti-Islamic, if you dislike a minority for any reason (legit character flaw in person), you are labeled a racist.

Amen brother, and

BUMP

Let us not forget that Osama bin Loser (deliberately) introduced the word Crusader into this war in 1998 when he issued his directive to "Kill Americans".
