heh..heh..wouldn't it be great if FOX NEWS played the Munster theme song everytime Ridge began to speak?
Munster Wav
Powerful stuff.

Tom Ridge is the reason I feel so confident about our homeland security.
About five letters mailed from one location have the legislature tied up in knots as well as the FBI. Airport security still has no improvement when just allowing pilots to carry sidearms would at least give some protection.
Oh yeah, we have authority for the air force to shoot them down if hijacked. Meanwhile we have NG troops without any ammo guarding airports, nuclear facilities, and public facilities. Borders wide open, leaking like a sieve.
Now we have this clown that doesn't know if or whether he has any authority running the show. How many terrorist attacks are we going to need and how many lives lost before terrorism is taken seriously?

Wrong, wrong, wrong!
Eddie Munster grew up to be Neil Cavuto. QED.
To: LarryLied
Tell me Tom Ridge is not Eddie Munster Tom Ridge is not Eddie Munster. Give the guy a break. New Job, no job description, etc. I'll concede only that we did't need another bureaucrat. We already had plenty of folks on the payroll to do the job.

Give the guy a break. He and at least 100 other clowns are trying to put together a new liberal, big government, tax sucking bureaucracy with, other than a feel good name, no known goals....
And, I'll bet they'll soon be openening offices in every state.
To: kristinn
Agree. Terrible blunders were made last week, as Capitol Hill workers were lined up and given preventive doses of Cipro, while the DC postal workers were told "Don't worry--be happy. Just keep on working". I fear there will be more fatalities among the USPS workers in the days and weeks ahead. Why were they not treated equally as well as the aides of Tom Daschle? It is scandalous, and Ridge should resign before he does further damage.

Is Neil Cavuto on the left or on the right?
To: LarryLied
"Homeland Security"When I first heard W utter those words in that speech, I instantly flashed on the Home Guard organization from the Babylon5 series. They were quite the goose-stepping bunch.
Probably the worst part was when Ridge said all the talk about "weaponized" anthrax lends nothing to the debate but confuses people.
What did he posit as the "debate"?
Thanks for the flag; your title made me LoL. :-)

And, I'll bet they'll soon be openening offices in every state.Hate to use FR for commercial purposes but I...well....things are kinda tight right now. Do you have phone numbers for these offices?
To: Hank Rearden
There is something about Niel Cavuto that just creeps me out. I can't put my finger on it, but he just gives me the heebie jeebies.
To: Hillary's Lovely Legs
Guys want to punch him in the face so we are happy to hear women have somewhat of the same reaction.
To: LarryLied
I would feel much safer if it was the Addams family
To: Hillary's Lovely Legs
I like Cavuto, a lot. Didja know he's on meds to treat multiple sclerosis?
On the other hand, I loath that nancyboy Shepard Smith. He, I'd smack hard multiple times, given the opportunity. My TV goes off or elsewhere when that sleazy creature appears. He could meet a speeding bus up close and personal; ok by me.
To: Hank Rearden
Heh...heh...Shepard Smith is after the Matlock slot. Bet he gets it too. Hold on. You and I will be long gone and he'll be on some unctious sitcom wooing the geriatic crowd.

When I was 14, Morticia was....well let's just say an object of my attention:
Last night you were, unhinged. You were like some desperate, howling demon. You frightened me. ...Do it again.--Morticia
