Update:Scotsman's Father near Death
Prayers are still needed for Family
Prayer's requested for Scotsman's father, Mr.William Allen Patterson age 84
Bob ... he lingers.
The DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) is in place, no feeding tubes, no heroics. He rests, comfortably.
The doctors are all in agreement with our decision, and we sit, taking turns, holding his hand.
Please express my heartfelt thanks, and the thanks of my mother, to all my FR friends that replied to your prayer request. I absolutely believe that it is helping my father to find his way across that bright line between life and Life Eternal.
Thank you all.
For those of you that wish to contact the family
I have listed the family address below.
Scotsman
Scotman's father:
William A. Patterson
38411 Piccadilly Sq.
Willoughby, Ohio
44094
Bob, could you please post the above message for me? I don't have a whole lot of time right now, and for the immediate future.
Thanks.

Prayers are on the way. It's a tough thing to let go. But there is a place of Quiet Rest near to the Heart of God.

Scotty,
You're never very far from my mind. God help you through this difficult time, and help your dear father find peace in the mansion the Lord has prepared for him.

We pray that William Allen Patterson be lifted on the wings of the angels to the everlasting refuge of peace and joy and fufillment in God's time. We pray for Mrs. Patterson and Scotsman and family, that their sadness be changed to joyful anticipation of the time when they will be reunited again, under grace and in a perfect way in name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the time You are giving to Mr. Patterson and his family. Thank You for the angels that stand guard around his bed and each of his loved ones. Thank You for the peace only You can give during these moments. Let us never forget what waits for us on the other side, how we will all retain our memories and love for each other, the rejoicing that will happen when we are all at last home with You. Thank You Father!
Merciful Father, please extend Your rich blessings and bounty to this dear family. Provide for every need, and send Your Comforter to be with them always. Fill each heart with joy that Mr. Patterson will rest in Your arms until we join him. In Jesus' name...Amen!

Often people ponder how God can allow the suffering and death of innocents in this world. The only answer is that that which awaits beyond this life is so wonderous that all else pales into insignificance.

Prayers lifted up for the family right now. Heavenly Father, just give them the comfort that comes from You. Just lift them up and strengthen them knowing that Mr. Patterson is in Your loving arms. In Christ's Holy and Precious Name. Amen
To: Bob Evans
May his passing be peaceful and may his family be comforted.
To: Bob Evans
Thank You, Lord, for the tender way in which You hold Mr. Patterson. Lead him in gentleness, and comfort his family while they, and You, stand watch over him. In the name of Jesus, Amen ...
