Those people need a new PR firm. Those activities are not likely to win friends.

You make a very good point. Yes, the similarities are striking.

I remember the little girls could not even mention the terrible things the Taliban thugs had done to them. The interviewer asked them and the little babies just cried.

Carpet bomb the scum.

Yes. Pol Pot! Bougassa! Idi Amin! Hitler! Stalin! The Inquisition! Imperial Rome! bint Laden! Al-Qaida! The Taliban! Manson! Speck! Gacey! Ted Bundy! The horrors that history failed to record! The list goes on and on and on!

There is no atrocity so horrible that some human being would not commit it.

Anything you can imagine--someone will do--and many more things that you cannot imagine!

"The true criticism of Neville Chamberlain is that he could not really imagine a man like Hitler or a party like the Nazis."
--Robert Conquest. Reflections of a Ravaged Century. Introduction.

One of the worst things about "Liberals who have Good Intentions" is that they cannot imagine and refuse to believe the endless depths that human depravity can reach. Well meaning Liberals are The Blind demanding to lead The Seeing.

The Neville Chamberlains of the world are among its most dangerous citizens. If they were satisfied with hiding their heads in the sand, their stupidity would matter little. It's when they take it upon themselves to force their stupidity on everyone else that they and their "Good Intentions" become dangerous.

--And this from a man who loves people--passionately and deeply--believes in them--knows that we will prevail!

To see it all and still love--that is really love. Right?

Yes. They watched soldiers of the Taliban murder their mother. They would not talk about what the Taliban soldiers did to them afterward. Then the children were left on the streets to beg.

Some wretched people are so consumed with Hate that Hate is all that matters. Everything--God, people, their own immortal souls--if they can believe in anything--have become a twisted cartoon of Hate.

I feel that kind of hate. But the actions of the US Armed Forces are my therapy.

Satan is their "god."

Satan knows his days are numbered so he's having to work overtime. Islam is satan.

A couple of weeks ago, CNN ran an expose titled "Behind the Veil" which detailed many of these atrocities. I rarely watch CNN, but this was by far the best show about the Taliban I have seen. It made me want to go over there myself and take a few of them out. These people are the modern Nazis.

Agree completely. Every slavish peacenik should watch this video until they understand who we are dealing with: theocratic fascist tyrants.

"If this was known, why did the UN Security Council fail to approve a resolution authorizing the use of force by the United States?"
Because the UN supports terrorism and slavery.

Because the UN is composed of dozens of nations, all of which define "terrorism" and "human rights" by differing standards.

All of this was known about the Taliban for years. Nobody who was paying any attention at all considered them anything other than pure scum.
Unfort, one of the problems was that there were few alternatives. The people that the Taliban replaced (many of whom are now joined up with our friends, the Northern Alliance!) were at least as bad.

The whole situation is viciously complicated. Until we were forced into action by Sept. 11, America didn't really want to get too involved, either.

It's not about Islam or any other religion. It's about power which they can't obtain through religion; but through (someone said this earlier)sub-human techniques.

Almost all the way down the line, when you read reports of Taleban operations, philsophy, method of justice, etc. they have a strikingly eery similarity to the Khmer Rouge of Pol Pot's infamy in Cambodia.

Maybe Tojo in Korea and China?

Yes, atrocities were committed on these poor Afghani people by the Taliban. That is why my sympathies do lie with the Afghaninians that want their country free of the Taliban monsters.

God help them, and us to be able to help them. This documentary should be shown over and over for people to understand that the Afghani people ( the opposition) are not for the Taliban, and desperately need to be free of them.

There is an interview in the (german) Spiegel with a german reporter who has studied the Khmer Rouge and recently visited the Taliban. His findings are the same. They also train children to do the killings.

But the frightning thing about this is that the majority of the 1 billion muslims worldwide are in support of these monsters.

We are are engaged in a battle between good and evil. No one expects the UN to break precident and side with the good guys.
