AIDS No Longer a Deterrent for Homosexuals

(CNSNews.com) - Scientists say they have more evidence that homosexual men are no longer constrained by the fear of contracting AIDS. The syphilis rate has jumped in San Francisco, particularly among homosexual or bisexual men who have unprotected sex with multiple partners, health officials say. As of September, health officials had recorded 116 syphilis cases in San Francisco, compared with 71 in 2000, 47 in 1999, and 39 in 1998. Of those 116 cases, 93 patients were homosexual or bisexual men who reporting having a total of 1,225 sexual partners, only 8 percent of whom they could identify by name. According to wire reports, city officials plan to present their findings on Saturday at a medical conference in San Francisco. Wire reports said the syphilis rate is also rising in other big cities.

This is amazing news in light of the fact the bath houses were never closed down for more than a few weeks since the onset of aides. It's been a group free-for-all for the last 15 years that I know of.

In the early 80s it was not unusual for men to have upwards of twenty-five partners in a weekend at those bath houses. Imagine the sexual contacts chart on these people. One person becomes 25 becomes 625 becomes 15,625 becomes 390,625 becomes 9,765,625 in one five weekend month. Obviously those figures won't hold up since they dwarf the available partners in under a month, but the implications are clear.

If you were a gay player in the early 80s you were exposed to aides and everything else. I don't think much has changed in that department.

You can thank Magic Johnson for this. He came out publicly with AIDS and now is the picture of health. Therefore, all the homos think they can contract the disease and live a healthy life just like him.
