I also see the medical supplies as being a possible method, but I only see ths being viable if the individual(s) doing this actually work in a medical supply company, where they could tamper with the products prior to their sterilied packaging... medical supply packaging is a pretty regulated process, but I suppose it COULD be done if it was an "inside" job...

Its the Jeffords letter I would be concerned with :)

What about someone working in the shipping dept.? If they made the Washington letters, they may have also left some on the packeages they handeled at work after they mailed the letters.

Thanks for the bump, Race. Oxford is in Mrs.Lone's old stomping grounds. Looks like Johnny R. may have to backtrack on his statement that CT has not and will not be a target of a terrorist attack. I'm not sending the wife and kids up north quite yet. But, the time seems to be inching closer.

I know K.H. is about 94 years old and lives somewhere in Connecticut. Probably the similarities to the person who's contracted anthrax end there.

But if the perpetrators are after publicity, what better way?

--not only did they get the most press coverage, they were the supporters of the goonking. Maybe this is a twist on the friends of bill list, taking advantage of the "terrorist" situation to shut up potential rats who might turn states evidence to save themselves. How hard would it really be for a potus to get his hands on..well..anything? Or his hirelings I should say.

Your social security idea is not so bad.  The folks who say that almost everyone has direct deposit are just plain wrong.  For October 2001, almost half of all recipients still received checks -- that is 3,312,883 checks versus 3,358,748 direct deposit.

Doesn't look likely at all, actually, if you look at the details more closely. The international movie database says K.H. lives in Old Saybrook, more than 50 miles away from Oxford.

And this woman is said to live alone, not what you'd expect of a wealthy, retired movie star.
