One plane could hold enough to kill many many people if it was released over a populated area.

Don't worry Dubya always thinks a few steps ahead he and his team know what they are doing Im sure they have good reasons for not defining this as a war against Islam( at least in its Wahabbi incarnation) yet.

From the article: And, after the East Africa embassy bombings in 1998, a congratulatory message to Zawahri praised “what you did and all the works and the labors that you did to plague the enemy of God.” The message, stored in the computer as a Microsoft Word document, is signed “Abu Yaser.”

Yasser Arafat, by chance?

This significant article in today's Washington Post, Zawahiri Urged Al Qaeda to Let Fighters Escape For Jihad's Sake , has important new information not only about Zawahiri and his new book, but also about the computer finds.

The computer files also show al-Qaida leaders celebrating. A homemade video file made after Sept. 11 features television footage of terrified Americans fleeing the flaming World Trade Center, overlain with a soundtrack of mocking chants and prayer in Arabic.

I want to see this on the news with subtitles, constantly, and played for our children in their schools.

Lest we forget.

Another aim of the jihad movement, Zawahiri stressed, is to "come closer" to ordinary Muslims by establishing "one of its wings to work with the masses, preach, provide services for the Muslim people, and share their concerns through all available avenues for charity and educational work." That appears to reflect the relative success of such groups as Hamas and Hezbollah, which have conducted terrorist operations while also running schools and medical clinics.

From the article linked above. Thanks for the ping.

Fred, good point in your reply #69.

And for many years Hamas, the Holy Land Foundation and the Saudis have raised money in the US and overseas for terrorists and their families under their definition of charity and humanitarain aide (to terrorists!).

This type of fund raising has been known to the FBI , to Clinton and to GW Bush for years and they did not act until compelled to by recent events when they knew to and should have acted much, much earlier. I question their honesty and judgement to adequately protect America from terrorism because of their repeated and prolonged refusal to stop this type of fund raising.

I'm just curious... How would you defend the absoluteness of this statement after reading the following thread dated 9/6/01?

FBI RAIDS DALLAS AREA ARAB INTERNET OFFICE

Ya see? I always have problems with "absolute" statements like that. No matter who makes the absolute statement -- the NWO-believers, the Bushies, the shills, the Libertarians, the pro-abortionists, the pro-lifers, etc., etc. -- the absolute, "all black/all white" statement only serves to marginalize whoever makes it.

Oh, well... I'm not keeping up with this anyway, so I have to warn people not to put a lot of effort into an answer. I probably won't be back to read it for another 24 hours or more anyway.

I think my newfound freedom from contant Freeping is turning me into a "hit & run" poster. ;-)

Response to Nita Nupress's reply #72:

I apppreciate your reply and the spirit in which it was made.

There were several articles from reputable news outlets posted on FR about the raids on the Holy Land Foundation and InfoCom in Dallas which revealed that the FBI knew about their fund raising activites and what they were for since 1993. I replied on most of these threads and obviously read the articles. I will try to find some examples and send them to you. Perhaps Uncle Bill or golitey or BlueDogDemo can help me find them for you.

In my investigations of the OKC bombing case I have found along with other investigators known to BlueDogDemo (he is in law enforcement and he has been critical of the FBI and posted on this on many threads for the past nine months and I know him) that the FBI has known about and failed to take action against many Hamas activites in the US and especially in OKC which has had a large well established cell in OKC since late 1980s which is well documented in Steve Emerson's documentary Jihad in America.

BlueDogDemo posted the original article on FR about the 9/6/01 raid (he flagged me and golitely that very day).

I realize that making broad statements as opinions in replies without writing an article or citing a list of references is not as persuasive as most would like. I do not always have the time to write articles and do not have the equipment or archives to do a job as well as Uncle Bill can do. But since replies are usually opinions I feel it is still okay to express my opinon without as much support as an article would require. Not everyone takes the time to read all the supporting info when it is included in replies.

But broad opinions can be presented on replies just like narrow limited opinions, and it is not always my intent to win over everyone. My intent often is to present what the opinon is for people to contemplate and research if they are interested.

I am not trying to be contentious in this reply to you. I am not trying to get you to agree with my statements and I am not even trying to get you to agree with how I have chosen to present my opinions. I am as a courtesy to you trying to explain my position and thinking for your information since I take your reply to me as sincere.

Nita,

Here are some articles posted on FR (with links to paste)that I promised you about Hamas and the Holy Land Foundation. In these articles you will find reference to the fact that the FBI knew of the improper fundraising activities by Holy Land for Hamas since 1993. And in the first article, the phrase “ long overdue decision” (shown in capital letters by me) is made to characterize the GW Bush decision to move against Hamas illegal fund raising activities in the US implying that he or the FBI knew but delayed longer than should have been delayed.

Several months ago even Newt Gingrich complained that GW Bush had not initially put Hamas on the terrorist list of assets to freeze. After three months of delay GW finally did what Gingrich had complained Bush did not do but should have done. Clinton should also have done it sometime between 1993 and 2001. There is an article on the Gingrich letter of complaint to Bush that was posted on FR in September 2001.

They probably look to the New Millionaires of Russia and think there's some kind of "Businessman's" exemption from being liquidated once the takeover's complete.

Quite possible they're mistaken on this score being as they're not actually part of the Collective from which those businessmen came.

I guess it all depends on how long the US remains useful for redistribution of wealth and "World Revolution by Proxy".

At our present pace -- and given the alacrity with which we've succumbed to the GOP police state -- my guess is Not Long.
