EW YORK, Jan.4--Second-string clinton lapdog, Ann Lewis, failed in her attempt to implement the CLINTON-WAS-AN-UTTER-FAILURE Containment Team Scheme on "Hannity & Colmes" tonight. The team's implementation score, thus far, is 352 failed attempts and zero successes, despite the best aiding-and-abetting efforts of The New York Times, the Washington Post and Helen Thomas. Rather than disproving the motivating premise of the Harlem-hatched mission -- a clinton legacy of depravity, ineptitude and failure -- Lewis' tired shtick only served to underscore the premise's essential truth. Oliver (Ollie) North, a combat-decorated Marine and host of the Fox News show, "War Stories, was substituting for Sean Hannity. Ollie delivered the coup de grâce: "Reagan didn't need to remind the people about his legacy... The people already made up their mind about clinton." Said another way, the very existence of the CLINTON-WAS-AN-UTTER-FAILURE Containment Team Scheme is confirmation that clinton was, indeed, an utter failure. EW YORK, Dec 21--Diehard clinton lackey, Lanny Davis tested the CLINTON-WAS-AN-UTTER-FAILURE Containment Team Scheme in what the clintons likely regard their most difficult venue, "The O'Reilly Factor." The top-rated Fox News show demonstrated once again that its motto, "the no spin zone," is no spin. The eponymous host swiftly stopped the spin (and the spin). O'Reilly debunked all the shameless clinton-directed revisionism spewed by Davis, exposing the absurdity of the CLINTON-WAS-AN-UTTER-FAILURE Containment Team Scheme even as he underscored clinton's immutable legacy of depravity and failure.

As Riefenstahl told it, editing-to-perfection was crucial....By editing out a shot of Hitler wiping his nose and including instead "more interesting expressions," by eliminating the human, Riefenstahl eliminated the inhuman. |

Will Riefenstahl-esque "editing to perfection" resurrect the clintons?

The smartest woman in the world would relish "the raucous give and take of American democracy, " as Charles Kuralt once put it. hillary clinton, by contrast, subsists on cozy clintonoid interviews of the Colmes kind... In her new book, Political Fictions, Joan Didion indicts the fakery of access journalism practiced by vacant politicos like the clintons, whom she sees as "purveyors of fables of their own making, or worse, fables conceived by political strategists with designs on votes, not news."

Post 9/11, even the most hopelessly ignorant and partisan, (with the inexplicable exception of ), are able to comprehend their collective posterior's precarious position; and they are able to connect the dots rather easily from it to clinton hyper-narcissism, ineptitude and depravity.
Helen Thomas Syndrome: THE SYMPTOMS
Had George Will written Sleaze, the sequel (the "sequel" is, of course, hillary) after 9-11-01, I suspect that he would have had to forgo the above conceit, as the doubt expressed in the setup phrase was, from that day forward, no longer operational. Indeed, assessing the clinton presidency an abject failure is not inconsistent with commentary coming from the left, most recently the LA Times: "Clinton Let Bin Laden Slip Away and Metastasize." When the clintons left office, I predicted that the country would eventually learn--sadly, the hard way--that this depraved, self-absorbed and inept pair had placed America (and the world) in mortal danger. But I was thinking years, not months. It is very significant that hillary clinton didn't deny clinton culpability for the terrorism. (Meet the Press, 12-09-01), notwithstanding tired tactics (if you can't pass the buck, spread the blame) and chronic self-exclusion. ("I knew nuttin'.") If leftist pandering keeps the disenfranchized down in perpetuity, clinton pandering,("it's the economy, stupid"), kept the middle and upper classes wilfully ignorant for eight years. And ironically, both results (leftist social policy and the clinton economy) are equally illusory, fraudulent. It is becoming increasingly clear that clinton assiduously avoided essential actions that would have negatively impacted the economy--the ultimate source of his continued power--actions like, say, going after the terrorists. It is critically important that hillary clinton fail in her grasp for power; read Peggy Noonan's little book, 'The Case Against Hillary Clinton' and Barbara Olson's two books; it is critical that the West de-clintonize, but that will be automatic once it is understood that the clintons risked civilization itself in order to gain and retain power. It shouldn't take books, however, to see that a leader is a dangerous, self-absorbed sicko. People should be able to figure that out for themselves. The electorate must be taught to think, to reason. It must be able to spot spin, especially in this age of the electronic demagogue. I am not hopeful. As Bertrand Russell noted, "Most people would sooner die than think; in fact, they do so. " *George Will continues: There is reason to believe that he is a rapist ("You better get some ice on that," Juanita Broaddrick says he told her concerning her bit lip), and that he bombed a country to distract attention from legal difficulties arising from his glandular life, and that. ... Furthermore, the bargain that he and his wife call a marriage refutes the axiom that opposites attract. Rather, she, as much as he, perhaps even more so, incarnates Clintonism

The report fails to explain how Buddy was able to wrest from the strong arm of the Secret Service and negotiate the multimillion-dollar, taxpayer-financed retrofits that were installed to make the poorly located suburban house safe for the universally despised former first couple. The report also fails to include a timeline detailing the whereabouts of the clintons on the day of the death. The clinton report's indictment of a sport utility vehicle (SUV) has caused incipient whispers of a vast left-wing conspiracy and the ever-expanding list of dead adverse clinton witnesses to fill the Senate cloakroom.
Buddy was a 1997 'gift' from a 'benefactor' who subscribed to the notion: "If you want a friend in Washington, get a dog," particularly sage advice for a DC couple forever mired in scandal and antipathy. Whether Buddy also subscribed to that notion was questioned as recently as last January when he entangled himself in clinton's legs, dropping the impeached ex-president to the pavement; clinton insisted at the time that there was no malevolence involved, that they were simply playing a game of fetch. clinton refused to say who was doing the fetching. (see BILL & HILL & BUDDY & HELEN, Helen Thomas Syndrome: THE SYMPTOMS )
The White House reported that the clintons' first First Pet, Socks, a cat, greeted the canine acquisition with "a hiss previously reserved only for Ken Starr." Because Buddy remained Socks' nemesis throughout the clinton dog days, Socks was eventually exiled to Virginia, to the suburban home of Betty Currie, former clinton subornee and sex scheduler. At the time, clinton observed: "I made more progress in the Middle East than I did between Socks and Buddy." Retrospectively, it is clear that clinton's characterization was not correct.
Buddy web sites quickly exploded throughout cyberspace. (Socks web sites, too, he would add.) Mrs. clinton, a long-time adherent of synergistic exploitation, "authored" an instant book about three groups favored for exploitation by the clintons: dogs, cats and children. "Dear Socks, Dear Buddy: Kids' Letters to the First Pets" was published by the clintons' personal agitprop-and-money-laundering machine, Simon & Schuster. (see Is hillary clinton's $8M "book advance" a Peter-Principle artifact?) Although Chappaqua locals share the national repugnance for the clintons, their feelings never spilled over to Buddy. "The big highlight for people was, 'I just saw Buddy,' never mind Mr. and Mrs. Clinton," said Christine Meyer, owner of Wags and Whiskers here. |
Trouble is - there are a lot of people who believe that BS. Bush doesn't have the Reagan gift of laughing off the libs. Mark my word, Bush will get defensive (rather than go on the offense) and the Dems will win big (more taxes...more spending...more thought police power...less liberty...more BS...no SUVs).
If Bush continues to play the bipartisan game - he'll get eaten alive.
Well, it's just that there are so many to choose from....
The Bush team is already gone to the offense. They're gradually turning up the heat, and you'll hear more this weekend from Bush at a coupla meetings, and from Bush spokesmen on tomorrow's screaming head shows. The problem, of course, is that they won't be as shrill as Dashle and the other 'Rats. They'll be pretty clear in portraying the bad guys as obstructionists, but they're not likely to go much further.
I suspect we would agree that Team Bush needs to be more blunt about exposing the Rat lies for what they are...that doesn't seem likely to happen, unfortunately.
FReeguards,
g
Like "rhetoric right out of the Taliban handbook" or something more blunt. Bush won't do it and the poll numbers will drop. Too bad.
I always felt sorry for Buddy, when he wasn't with a handler, he was being used for photo-ops for the Clintons. What on earth was he doing loose in the first place?
Do you think that car had a bumber sticker on the front of it that said, "RUN HILLARY, RUN" ?
BTTT
Today Senator Tom Daschle again attacked President Bush's popular tax relief package that was passed with bipartisan support that included 40 Democrat votes in the U.S. Congress. Daschle used the speech to unveil a Democrat stimulus plan, 93 days after President Bush proposed his economic security proposal to jump-start the American economy.
Senator Daschle's speech, taken directly from the James Carville political playbook, is a clear indication that Democrat obstruction of the President's agenda on economic security, trade promotion authority and energy, hurt the Democrats in the eyes of the American people.
Daschle recently admitted a bad economy is good for the party out of power. "The economy always plays a major role" in elections, Daschle said in a recent interview. "The degree to which the economy is not doing well, that is the degree to which the party out of power does better." (James Kuhnhenn, "Daschle Key To Crafting Stimulus Plan That Both Sides Of The Aisle Will Accept," Knight Ridder, December 4, 2001).
The American people support President Bush and his vision to reenergize our economy. As a result, Democrats are now playing catch-up, proposing a 'new' stimulus package after three months of blocking the President's plan in the Senate.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Let Senator Daschle and the obstructionist Democrats know you don't buy their budget games. Tell Senator Daschle you are one of the 63% of Americans who approve of the President's economic efforts and urge him to vote on the bipartisan economic security package proposed by the President.
Thank you for making calls and letting Senator Daschle know you can see through his charades. I hope you will pass this message along to everyone you know who will help.
Haven't seen that in a while! Ah, the images it creates.....
The events of 9/11 were certainly a shock to the economy. It appears to be mild, however, compared to what Dashle and the Democrats are doing to purposely undermine the economy of the United States.
Their greed is evident in wealth grabbing to blackmail the voters in unnecessary spending and old tax the rich rhetoric.
But they've reached a new level with an out-and-out lie. That somehow higher taxes are good in a recession.
