Just throwing my two cents in, Jeb needs to have Florida, (and so do we).

Your effort would be most effective if Florida Freepers are the ones to publicly work the Florida newspaper forums. Most people tend to resent outsiders weighing in on state politics (except here at FR, of course!), so Florida Freepers would be the best choice.

I think this is a great example of Freeper grassroots activism, and you deserve a lot of praise, summer!

I don't know about bookmarking right now, but, this thread is posted on the national board. Just click my screen name and click the American flag on my profile page. You'll always be able to find this thread.

Re your post #42 -- True -- but, many people are "snow birds" here in FL, and DO live here part-time, while others have family and friends here and visit, and still others have lived here or are moving here. So, there is a big, transient population, as well as residents, who read FL newspapers. And, thanks for your kind words! :)

This isn't a "link" but here's a testament to his good record: Jeb Bush never worked under Bill Clinton.

I agree with the resentment towards outsiders comment. We are states for a reason, not one big land mass. So, Floridians will have to decide their fate for themselves. If we all were proactive in our own states, then things might be more towards our collective, conservative, liking.

Yes, but FL is unique, in that we do have a lot of people reading FL newspapers because of their connection in some way to this state. That wouldn't be as true in a state like Alaska for instance, but it's true here. And, putting out the information for a voter to read and ponder does nothing but help educate the public. I think anyone can do that!

>It would be wonderful if Gov. Jeb Bush won this election by the largest margin in FL history ...

Is any other outcome even imaginable?

Bush is running against psycho killer Janet Reno and her biggest supporter is psycho freak Rosie!

Has anybody seen any poll information? Since New Yorkers elected Hillary, I have to admit that _anything_ is possible. But I can't believe that ANOYONE would actually vote for Reno. Why not just write in Charles Manson?!

Ok, I'll buy that. We're just looking at Florida's boundaries a little differently.

LOL...and, also the task: distribute info. Here's an interesting bit of info though: an online newspaper forum like the St. Petersburg Times forum, here in FL, actually has several thousands of registered users -- far more than the total number of posters at a national forum like Democratic Underground. So, these forums do reach voters down here.

I think putting out the info for FL voters to see can only help. Reno's people can do it, too. But, they don't have an outstandiing record to run on, like Gov. Bush has. Why not make use of the great record he DOES have? (BTW, I am actually NOT with his official campaign!)

I thought that's where activism postings go -- no? I should have used Front Page, then? I just forgot! :)
