That's pretty impressive for an idiot. massadvj is completely right.

Of course. According to you and him, there are no posts critical of Bush on FR. I guess this post is a figment of my imagination.

Idiots abound.

"Something has to be done. Government has failed, so time to try something else!" ROTFLMAO!! You make the above statement as justification for NEW and BIGGER federal government education programs?? LOL... Only a socialist would not know how ignorant that statement is. There is no way we can ever agree. You favor abandonment of the Constitution so the Federal government can solve problems that were PREVIOUSLY solved by the local community. "You are not even savvy enough to know that these problems are the RESULT of Federal Government intrusion, yet like a good Democrat your solution is to propose MORE of the SAME!!" "You "think" you understand real politics, but you parrot the party line. Thats good, you will be patted on the head by the Republican party aparatchiks. Enjoy it." "We cannot improve government by making excuses for it."

I'm wasting my time talking to you, Sir. You're are too busy pointing out to me what an idiot I am to even consider anything I've said. I'm not a Socialist- NOR DO I LIKE BEING CALLED A SOCIALIST!!! You're right. You and I will NEVER agree! Obviously you are not SAVVY enough to grasp the concept that none of this happened overnight. It has taken roughly 40 years to get where we are now, and it will take a while to fix it! It has to start somewhere, even if it is just a baby step! Whether you choose to acknowledge it, or not!

How has Enviornment Cleanup anything to do with terrorism?

"Bush said he also plans to double spending next year on brownfields cleanup. Christie Whitman, administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, said Bush's 2003 budget proposal will seek $102 million more than the $98 million Congress appropriated this year."

"After raising the spending level to $200 million, Whitman said, the administration may propose spending $250 million in fiscal 2004."

He is increasing spending in all areas.

Thanks for the ping, exodus. I guess because we are "at war" Bush should have dictatorial power. If you oppose his massive federal education bill and Kennedy-hugging behavior, you must be "for the terrorists." If you are against the expansion of farm subsidies, social programs, or any other pet pork projects, you must be "for the terrorists." Because we are "at war" Bush and that "CONSERVATIVE" Republican Party can grow the federal government to heights Clinton and Gore could only dream about.

The military is one of the enumerated and restricted areas that is permitted by the Constitution for Federal spending. Education is NOT! What would Gore have done differently than Bush? Spent less? Investigated Clinton's crimes? Once again, there is little discernable difference in the way the 2 Parties govern. Any real differences are simply in the rhetoric and promises. And the federal beat goes on.......

"Will someone please explain to me, again, how Bush is better than Gore?"

He has proven himself more efficient at implementing the changes a growing welfare-state needs. Gore would have had vocal opposition to every thing he tried. Bush can propose 'lighter' versions of the same thing and get every one of them implemented.

It isn't like W hasn't been trying to get our money back to us. The Dashole, however, keeps sucking it back in.

Correct - no war is fought w/o a deficit. Now why do you think that we got into a war? The answer is that whenever there is YOUR tax money creating a surplus it gives the elites that opportunity to SPEND IT RATHER THAN GIVE IT BACK TO YOU.
