And lets not forget the all encompassing "Silenced, high capacity, automatic, assault .357 magnum revolver"

I got one of them, but it's sawed-off.

With armor piercing bullets.

"Revolvers, although they fire each time you pull the trigger, are not considered to be 'semi-automatic'."

Other than one over-designed and highly collectible Webley, IIRC.

Our guy used to sit in that row and just stare straight out. Another classmate used to call it the "thousand yard stare" and said if the guy ever flinched, he (first guy) was hitting the deck because he knew a gun was going to be firing from the starer.

Yes it is tragic since evidently this Dean had found a part of the world in which he felt it safe to live and raise his children. But, the fact that he was a lawyer in the Clinton "justice" Dept is just about the wierdest little detail imaginable.

Hey - remember the area of Virginia we discussed last year re: my friend's question about a city in Virginia - I can't remember the town's name now - but believe you knew the town. Related to the Condit / Chandra Levy investigation? No connection to this story - just that you were on this thread and I hadn't bumped into you here much since that thread. Is this location anywhere near that town we discussed?

An Altavista search seems to indicate that Nigeria is a largely muslim country.

There's a large and growing Christian presence in Nigeria, and a lot of Christians being killed by Moslems. Add to that a lot of poverty and corruption, and you've got a potent mix.

It's very weird...a guy in my office used to live in Grundy and said it's prototypical Small-Town America. And the Clinton Connection for the murdered Dean adds another level of intrigue...wonder if Slick Willie will go to the funeral and shed some crocodile tears like he did after he had Ron Brown Murdered?!

FReegards...MUD

No ABA accreditation, limited access to bar exams. Can't get in a bar exam, no reason to go to law school.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Nigeria real close to, or next to Somalia(sp)?

Well, both are near the Equator, both are on the African Continent, one is on the Atlantic Ocean and the other is on the Indian Ocean. About as close as California and Virginia.

Mine has a laser site and a three round gernade launcher

Yeah ... Law School! The dude couldn't handle becoming a lawyer because he knew he had a one in 5,000,000 chance of becoming a human being. He decided that the others couldn't handle it either.

"Other students tackled him. (Unlike SWAT team at Columbine they did the right thing.)"

It's good to know that 9/11-induced common sense is not restricted to airline passengers! There may yet be hope for this country!

(I look forward to the day that no street thug would dare try to mug anyone because of the certainty of being ripped limb from limb by infuriated passersby.)

Nigeria has a large Muslim population.
But Islam is a peaceful and tolerant religion ;-)

Stranger yet, the news media seems to be avoiding and evading who this guy is. You know damn well they already know *all* about this idiot.

Now explain how a semi-auto DAO such as a glock works

A Glock action works like a DAO at all times. Pulling the trigger cocks and releases the striker to smack the firing pin against the primer. The blowback action of the slide against the spring takes care of the extract/eject and reload cycle. A Glock never has a hammer cocked against a sear. The trigger pull is the same every time.

Law readers (i.e., not law school graduates) in Virginia can sit for the bar. Also, generally, a graduate of an unaccredited law school can sit for the bar in the state where the law school is located.
