No, .380's are all semi-auto pistols. 38 specials are almost univerally revolvers.

It wasn't a decent joke. Not funny. How many jokes are you going to make if your kid gets killed? It takes a sick mind to think that the bloody public death of parents and kids is a laugh riot.

Student Goodman finally stated (with reservations) the shooter was from Nigeria. I believe one of the attorneys in my firm went there. Suspect it is slightly less liberal than most big law schools.

Revolvers, although they fire each time you pull the trigger, are not considered to be "semi-automatic". Thanks, I stand corrected. I was under the impression that semi-automatic simply meant you can fire as fast as you can pull the trigger....no reloading.

From the Dept. of Justice archives:
WEDNESDAY, MAY 27, 1998 (202) 616-2765 TDD (202) 514-1888
SUTIN TO HEAD OFFICE OF LEGISLATIVE AFFAIRS
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Attorney General Janet Reno has appointed L. Anthony Sutin to serve as the Acting Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legislative Affairs at the Department of Justice.
Sutin, whose appointment became effective on Monday, will be responsible for overseeing the Department's liaison efforts with Congress, including legislative and oversight matters.
Sutin, 38, has previously served as Deputy Associate Attorney General, and as Deputy Director and General Counsel for the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services. That office administers the multibillion dollar "COPS" program aimed at placing 100,000 additional police officers on the nation's streets.
Before joining the government, Sutin was a partner in the Washington, D.C. law firm of Hogan & Hartson, where he specialized in civil litigation.
Sutin is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Brandeis University. He lives in Alexandria, VA with his wife, Margaret M. Lawton, and their son.

One girl was shot in the neck.Did they say if she is one of the fatalities or one of the survivors? If the latter, the death toll could go higher.

According the MSNBC, the shooter is a foreign exchange student Foreign student from where? Is al-Qaeda financing law school educations so they'll have trial attorneys on their side? Just a thought.
