Was one of the defenders a female? I didn't know that.DOH! I saw the name Tracy and assumed. My bad. That would have been cool, though, if Tracy was a 'she'.... Maybe then it would have made the news??

Thanks for the ping, but I've already seen this
article

Kudos to the NYPost for finally getting into the discussion. I appreciate that paper more and more every day.
To: mrustow
Oh you're absolutely more than welcome. It's a great site.
To: mrustow
Thank you, thank you, thank you for this ping.
Nobody could possibly be surprised that this most important aspect of the story was deliberately omitted by liberal, politically correct toilet papers like the Washington Post and the New York Times, but does anyone know if Fox News had the integrity to present the full story?

The level to which the so-called "profession" of journalism in America has fallen is simply disgusting.
They're no better than the National Socialists who wrote for Hitler's Volkisher Beobacter, the mouthpiece of the Nazi party.

This might interest you both.

I read this from a printed version yesterday and loved it. I was tempted to leave it in the waiting room for others...along with Steve Dunleavy's piece, "California airheads unfit to raise a head of lettuce."

On board, pally. Even Mata-Sherry is starting to come around.
On New-Years-Eve, as we disembarked the car, she asked me: "Is this neighbourhood safe?" And I said: "Sure!" and I showed her the Ladysmith .38 that I bought for her!
She said: "Well, how many shots have you got?" I said: "Five!" she said: " Well, if you miss, we can always jump in the Bay, so don't miss, bub!.......FRegards

What is so remarkable is that out of 280 separate news stories (from a computerized Nexis-Lexis search) in the week after the event, just four stories mentioned that the students who stopped the attack had guns. In all, 72, stories described how the attacker was stopped without mentioning that the student heroes had guns. Unfortunately, the coverage in this case was not unusual. In the other public school shootings where citizens with guns have stopped attacks, rarely do more than one percent of the news stories mention that citizens with guns stopped the attacks.
Hmmm, should we say media bias and Political Correctness obscure reality?

Good post. Glad to see that you are still 'hanging in there'....!-)

"...only government people should have guns."
I know *you're* kidding, Heads, but if anyone ever says this to us in all seriousness, let's remind them that this is supposed to be "the government of the people, by the people, and for the people." The 'government people' is US!

Very few of us would recoil from such a statement; it's correct. Reminds me of the Archie Bunker story (retold many times since 9/11) where his character said every person entering an airplane should be issued a loaded firearm prior to takeoff. Upon disembarking, they'd give the guns back. Hijack problem solved.
The liberal weeners who wrote the episode considered that the height of right-wing-establishment absurdity, but it sounds like an intriguing possibility to me. :-)

What's "KABA"? KABA is your God given right to defend yourself and defend you family with a firearm.
Do everything you can to protect it.
Amen. End of Sermon.
To: Doomonyou
Indeed. I don't know, come to think of it, whether other people refer to keepandbeararms.com as "kaba." That's what I've always said. Do you guys?
