Too, too funny! You made my day! (You always do.)

We will now be reviewing all of your posts and as long as we don't find any statements supporting the 2nd Ammendment or Christianity we may be persuaded to let you off with a 15 year warning sentence.

UH-oh! I am in BIG trouble, aren't I?

Will batting my eyelashes help? Hmmm?

What a bunch of goofballs....

You're all whiners who belong over at DU not here.

I'd be the first person to double tap some ATF Agents forehead if he came to my house serve a warrant with a hundred of his buddies dressed in Tac gear but I am not going to whine over a sky marshal doing his job.

You see, I realize that everytime I have a kneejerk reaction about someone enforcing the law I hamstring my credibility when the time comes to really speak up.

Half of you idiots dont care about the law or the constitution........you just dont like being told what to do.

It's a law of creation...........so get used to disappointment.

You drips are usually always standing downwind so "...........I fart in your general direction."

You ask if we should have this 30 minute rule expanded to all destinations and would I feel safer. First, I travel for business and on every flight I've been on there's been a 30-minute rule. And yes, since you asked, I do feel safer.

You write: how ironic that this guy has the name "free the hostages?"

I'm a girl, not a guy, and "FreetheHostages" concerned the Chinese holding our civilians after downing their spy plane. But I've also been a prosecutor, and I well know that the brief detention of persons for the safety of others is consistent with, and not antithetical to, our civic freedom. I'm a conservative, but not one of those who things the abolition of all police power is the road to freedom. That's the road to anarchy. Freedom can't exist without law and order.

One of you has objected that you have prostate problems. I'm sorry and I do sympathize. I've been on many flights with the 30-minute rule: passengers are always given a warning before the 30 minutes start. So I would hope that would handle that problem. But if people have a problem where they need to use the bathroom more than every 30 minutes, as things stand now, I recommend the train.

aahh yes! the LOOOOng arm of the Law... It just keeps growing and growing and growing. It seems to be in everybody's business these days.

I believe in adhering to the rules of law but not protection for your own good!

If this 6'2", 220 lb. passenger had been on Flight 93 his fellow passengers may have been lucky enough to have him act before everyone was herded like a bunch of rabbits into the rear of the aircraft by three punks with armed with (Gasp!!) box cutters.

A variation on a simple kids' game could have saved the day. (Hint: Airline blanket covers box cutter and scurvy head. Briefcase crushes skull).

"Let's Roll!!", my @**. The time to "roll" was before the camel-molesting bastards took over the cockpit and left everybody on board with nothing to lose......

I guess you think this is just a joke!?

.30: UH-oh! I am in BIG trouble, aren't I?

You have been found with all three vectors of probable cause to suspect you of militia/domestic terrorist involvement as distributed by the FBI to local LEO's two years ago. Pro 2nd ammend. bumper stickers, a copy of the Constitution and a Bible. (This part ain't a joke folks, they actually did that.) Now you are baiting a statist fool, I think you'll be going away for a long time.

.30: Will batting my eyelashes help? Hmmm?

Sorry, honey! We ain't your local donut crunchers here. Lon will take care of those eyelashes for you if they so much as flutter.

Drop the Scripture, Bible thumper! This subversive truth-talk will not be tolerated in der Homeland!

According to published information, the 30 minute rule just went into effect a few days ago and only pertains to flights into Salt Lake City.

How does this fit with your above statement, Madam Proscecutor?

FWI, I flew on 1/30 and 2/3 and there was no 30 minute rule in effect.

Splain, please.

Are you a domestic terrorist? Are you sure? Check this FBI pamphlet that was recently distributed in AZ. Here are the links to scans of the front and back. (It takes up too much bandwidth to post it.)

Front page of FBI pamphlet.

Back page of FBI pamphlet.

It is also posted at this website with exerpts of conversations with the Maricopa county Sheriffs dept. concerning its distribution. Here are just a few of them.

Public Servants Going After "Constitutional Terrorists"? by Angel
November 14, 2001
KeepAndBearArms.com --
The Phoenix Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office (Greater Phoenix, Arizona), and the Maricopa County Attorney are handing out flyers asking the recipients to help them fight domestic terrorism.

I received one of these flyers this past weekend at the Arizona "Freedom in the 21st Century" gathering. One member of the Sheriff's Posse Reserve in attendance said he'd seen the flyer before and that it is legitimate.
[I will be getting verification before this report goes live on our site, including recording phone calls to these people.]

Called the Joint Terrorism Task Force, the program was created, presumably, to help preserve the American way of life, right? In part, probably. However, it also looks like it's a disinformation campaign to paint least a few groups of Real Americans as domestic terrorists.
Among other things, the dynamic trio is asking people: "If you encounter any of the following, Call the Joint Terrorism Task Force":

"defenders of the US Constitution against federal government and the UN" [That describes many civil liberties groups and most gun rights and American Sovereignty groups in existence -- and, by extension, their members.]

"Groups of individuals engaging in para-military training" [Such as, perhaps, shooting your semi-automatic "assault weapon" with some friends out in the desert?"]

Also being sought are "Common Law Movement Proponents" who "Request authority for a stop" [That's illegal now?]

"Make numerous references to the US Constitution" [That's illegal now?]

"Attempt to 'police the police'" [That's illegal now?]

And let's not forget the other potential "domestic terrorists" being sought. We really need to watch out for these people:

"Lone Individuals" [Do you meet that description?]

"Rebels" [Know any gun rights activist who doesn't have at least a touch of rebel pumping through the old bloodstream?]

Be sure and notice the following two things on the flyer, as well:
1) There is NOT ONE MENTION of "Islamic Fundamentalists" anywhere.
2) Defenders of the US Constitution and the common law from which it grew are being classified on the same level as the bottom-feeding Skinheads, Nazis and the KKK.

"I just spoke to Terry Chapman, whose name is on the flyer, of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Dept. He said that the Sheriff's office demanded that the FBI stop circulating the flyer as long as the Sheriff's Dept was associated with it. He believes that they have stopped circulating it. I said they need to issue an apology and a retraction.

I told him that there is no need to profile people into categories. If they commit a crime, they are a criminal. No other profile needs to exist.

He said he was disgusted by the flyer.

He said one of his own Lieutenants called him and said, "Terry, I guess I am on the list of Domestic Terrorists since I believe in the US Constitution."

He said the Sheriff's office has been inundated with calls about this flyer.

He asked me if I received the flyer in the mail or if it was on the Internet. When I responded with the latter, he said, "aww,God."

I told him it would probably be circulating for a long time. He knew.

Well, as we've been educated on this thread "Rules are rules" folks. And rules of probable cause to detain and search have been so broadly and vaguely expanded virtually everyone here who has taken issue with the statist-sheeple has identified themselves as a terrorist. Put your hands on your head and surrender now.
Keep the chirrens safe.

"Wrong. This was an entirely appropriate use of police authority. Follow the rules & for goodness sakes don't give airplane crews a hard time. He did this going into Salt Lake, too. Inexcusable." Should anyone have the least doubt that the American people are gradually becoming adjusted to living in a police state, just read the above post a few times.

Police state. LOL. Are you guys all paranoid schizophrenics? Read the Gulag Archipelog a couple of times more and tell me that we're a police state. I've ridden on lots of commercial flights in the last 60 days and on every one of them, 30 minutes before, we were asked to stay in our seats. We were told to stay in our seats. It has *long* been the case that in the law of the air, those instructions of the crew are the law. If you have a problem with the law because you don't like it, then in a democracy you don't whine that boo-hoo it's Stalinism, you lobby your legislator to have the law changed. You guys really are a bunch of whiners. Just stay in your seats. The "right to walk about the plane in the last 30 minutes of the flight or all rights as I know them are surely vanquished" crowd. Sheesh. Get a grip.

He should have went to bathroom in L.A, airport, and or right after flight leveled off. I have no sympathy for somebody like that unless it was a medical emergency. Then he can tell it to the judge.

Perhaps passengers should be allowed to select, or even pre-select, potential charges. Rather than facing 20 years for switching seats, they could select only ten for peeing one's self, or if that is too embarrassing , 15 years to stand up and urinate, accepting the consequences of the second charge for more public exposure, but reduced humiliation. As for the air marshals, cut off their TV privileges.

Nice story but SAC no longer exists since at least the early 1990's. Try again, this time with a branch of the Air Force that actually exists.....

Want to fix this? Don't fly

Make the Airlines beat some GD sense into the Air Marshals. I can understand the need for heightened security, but what they are doing is bullshit. Hit them where it hurts. Hit their pocket book. I guarantee you that if enough passengers complain to the air lines AND our representatives, they will get the kiddy guarders under control and start implementing some REAL security measures.

If the Air marshals were really all that worries about the "30 minute" rule, why in hell did they wait until the guy gave a "Thumbs up"? If they were really doing their damn job they would have arrested this individual on the spot. They watched him get up, go to the bathroom, use it, exit the bathroom. If going to the bathroom in that 30 minute window was really against the law, then the Marshals are guilty of gross criminal negligence and should be fired.

This claptrap about a 30 minute rule is just one more thing for your federal govt to shove down your throat instead of enacting real security reforms.

And like good little sheep, everyone goes along with it.

Baa Baa Baa
