This past weekend my nephew was wounded in the fighting in Gardez, I ask you to keep him in your thoughts, and prayers.
We are proud of him and proud of our armed forces.

It's the unit crest of Headquarters/ Headquarters Company, 1st Infantry Division ("Big Red One"). IMHO, One of the finest Distinctive Unit Insignia ever approved by the Army Heraldry Institute...

Dave has spoken to his mom and dad...., his wounds are not life threatening and he is doing well after the operation. Oh wow .. good to hear that is not life threatening ..
Will continue prayers for him and all our military ... May God keep them safe
