"The gloves are off" says Bill Simon (California's next Governor)!!!
Bill Simon Meeting | August 20, 2002 | Saundra Duffy

Posted on 08/20/2002 8:36:46 PM PDT by Saundra Duffy

Mr. & Mrs. Bill Simon wowed us tonight!! Lager and I attended the open house for the new Simon campaign headquarters in Sacramento. The place was packed. GOP State Senators and Assembly Members were there in mass. Dave Cox, Minority Leader for the State Assembly, gave a rousing speech! Bill Simon spoke to every person, individually. He said the last few weeks have been really difficult but "things are about to change!" He said, "the gloves are off" and he also said, "By the time this is over, we're going to pound Davis right into the dirt!" Yahoo!!! President Bush is coming to town to stump for Simon! Simon said he's going all over the state doing radio talk shows. He also said that TV/radio ads will start tomorrow (two weeks early). He said he won't rest until Davis is toast. FReepers - I am so pumped!! Lager and I are going to volunteer at the campaign office every night after work until the election AND we'll be registering new voters in Fresno area every weekend. We can do it! Go, Simon!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get this. Hawaii is about to get a REPUBLICAN governor for the first time in God knows how long - like 40 years or something. The incumbent democrap is a creep from hell (like Davis!). There are lots of things in play here. Even the democraps hate Davis. The time is right for Simon to win. Go, Simon. "Somebody save us from Gray Davis!" For victory & freedom!!!

You go ahead and yawn sonny....

That's just what they want you to do... While you sleep, we will creep...

They will win only when our old, cold, dead fingers can't fire anymore!!

I've seen the fire in our young conservatives and the old farts that Freep...

We share the common bond you've lost and thanks to them there's a chore...

Get off your butt, put money to you mouth or let your a-- hit the door!

Some of us have family ties here in good ol' California. We're stuck by choice. If Simon wins, there's hope. Go, Simon!!

How many Mestizos do you think care about high taxes and how yuppies making $100k are leaving the state in droves?

La Raza, baby! That's all that matters. The Dem machine runs the Mestizo vote, so that is all Davis needs. Who cares about the rest.

Democrat power drips into the state from the south every day. It never stops. It never will.

Two years ago we had HUGE surpluses. Now we have HUGE deficits. The fault is plain and simple - Gray Davis is CORRUPT! (He's also a WHORE and he's made whores out of all of us cuz we have to pay him to screw us.) Go, Simon!!!

I've heard this before. Bush, Dole...

The DNC has an ethnic lock on California. It's over. Get used to it.

I hope he wins I really do, because a lot of California's conservatives stood on principle to get him nominated over Riordan and if he loses, they will have learned to go with a winner over principle.
They should play up Davis signing the bill that in effect banned SUVs in the future.
Should show a commercial where the surplus is shown to become a big debt while Davis mad bad choices.

Hope there is enough time, because Davis has been hitting hard near a month already.

Those that understand and care are the choir. The majority of California voters don't give a rat's a$$ about any of that. La Raza!!! is all that matters.

This is the future of America. The reason for that? The GOP was too timid to stand up for America. Now they have to pander.

Riordan would have smashed Davis. But conservatives took the stubborn stand on their principles and the Gov job went from in-the-bank for Republicans to 30% chance we might win. IMO!

Well, I know about that. That's one of the most frustrating things. I wish you could have been there tonight. Simon is really hot and I felt he's pissed. I know it's hard to believe. Dave Cox warned us about being cynical. It's time for hard work and positive attitudes. I really do understand your doubts, though. I have decided to go all out for Simon. When he wins, it'll all be worth it. Amen! For victory & freedom!!!

La Raza is not as strong as you think. Bill Simon is not ashamed to say he's pro life. Bill Simon has an A rating from the NRA. He looked great tonight and his wife is stunning. Go, Simon!!!!!!!!!!

"The Race" issue is the strongest issue in America. There is no way anyone is going to ask for any responsibility in immigration, and the mestizo know this. The organization "La Raza" may be a paper tiger, but the greater issue of race is for real. Mestizo voters will vote for their party, and that party is Dem.

It's over. California peaked long ago. The Eagles wrote a song about it - "The Last Resort."

Your guy may be right on, and his wife may be wonderful (for whatever that's worth), but "La Raza" is what binds the mestizo vote. They are not conservative - drop that myth, if you have not done so.

He he... I'm the old fart and dang proud of it sister....
But I'm a fighter and anyone who's walked my hood knows it. If Orion is right you can put this little factoid in the bank. While he and others like him (who just rolled over for the commie rat bast---s) are marching single file down I-5 to the exterminatiom camps in Fresno, we'll be up on the high ground with a bunch of Freepers and retired cops, picking off the armed escorts one by one. BET ON THAT!!!

Dicky Pooh was to the LEFT of Gray Davis and he proved to be a poor candidate. He ran no campaign and in the end he couldn't even carry his home county of Los Angeles. Conservatives chose the best candidate they could for Governor and that turned out to be Bill Simon. At the time the pressitutes and GrayDown wrote him off and ignored him and he came from behind to win. Its true the liberal elites in California loathe him - but so what? They loathed Ronald Reagan too and he won by a landslide in November 1966. All of us are pledging to do everything we can this fall to see to it Simon is California's next Governor.

GO SIMON!!!

You & Lager have great attitudes!
We'd be winning a heck of a lot more if people wouldn't abandon conservative principles at the first setback or poll result.

And Saundra, you & Lager have a good time at Simon's victory party!

I lived in Hawaii during the last "sure thing." Lingle is the Maui mayor and is a twinkie. She would be a Dem in most states. Cayatano is supported by the Filipino machine. He stole 5000 votes in '98 and won. The same will happen. Almost everyone in Hawaii has only known Democrats to be in power, and the ones old enough to remember the Pubbies, vote Dem for a reason.

It will be close, but I doubt Lingle will win. We all thought so in '98. The Filipinos are just too strong, and the welfare state is too entrenched.
