You might be right, especially about the part where 0bama isn’t the Dem candidate. As I see it, he simply won’t be able to run again without documentation. Clinton is already making moves.
He did it once, he can do it again. Short of a 2/3rds majority in the senate with the gumption to impeach, the Kenyan isn't going anywhere until January 2013.
I doubt that will be a reason he won’t run. Clinton will defeat him in a primary contest, if she wins. You already see lots of high-profile libs abandoning Zero for ‘anybody.’ Anybody, as in Nanny Mayor Bloomberg.
If he runs, especially as an independent, it could be like Crist, where he splits the lib vote, or he might have the money to buy the election. There are lots of scenarios.
I’m all for Palin. She clearly frightens the left, and she is basically the only prospect we can trust not to devolve into a squish or RINO (Huckabee’s a populist, Romney’s healthcare debacle, anybody from DC).
I like DeMint, Coburn, and Inhofe, but we need somebody NOT currently in DC.
Bobby Jindal is another excellent option. I’d like to see a Palin/Jindal ticket, followed by Jindal/Allen West. Unfortunately, I think it is HIGHLY unlikely Palin can choose a VEEP like Jindal. Instead, we’ll be stuck with an “experienced” Washington insider.
Ronald Reagan was truly great, but I think we would have been better off he selected Kemp as his running mate in lieu of Bush.
Anyway, I’ll put my money where my mouth is and try to lock it up early to prevent any destructive primary...on 2 January, I’m sending the max contribution to SarahPAC.
The day she opens an exploratory or campaign committee, I’ll max out to them too. In the meantime, I donated after the AZ primary was over - I didn’t want my money going to McCain.
What I HOPE happens is that they have a knock-down, drag out, vicious primary in which both of them take the gloves off and really drag the other through the mud.
