The only returns most of them will care about.
Louisiana Ping!
Let us hope the fraud named Piyush Jindal will be forced into a run off.
So who was the last person that was a better Governor of Louisiana than Bobby Jindal?
Concur. May every governor in this country have even a fragment of Jindal’s talent and good sense.
I did my duty today — voted straight Republican ticket — and I am a registered Democrat. Screw ‘em.
Who where your two senators who passed the no-cash for second-hand/used transactions?
Excellent. Welcome aboard.
Here is the AP site:
WWL-TV in New Orleans projects Jindal re-elected.
Truth be told, Yam, there ain’t been one worth a friggin’ damn. I hope you voted for the HANNITY FRAUD. I hate liars....’nuf said.
BS!
I suggest you do some research...forgotston.com..moongriffon.com...DO IT!
A cursory glance at the returns apparently shows all the GOP incumbents returned in the major statewide offices. The closest races (both between Republicans) were for Lt Governor where Jay Dardenne won with just 53% over Billy Nungesser and the Secretary of State one is a nailbiter between Jindal’s appointee, incumbent Tom Schedler and outgoing GOP House Speaker Jim Tucker, just 51-49%. Governor Jindal won with 67% and is carrying Orleans Parish with a 41% plurality. Ex-Congressman Anh Cao withdrew from the Attorney General race, so party-switcher Buddy Caldwell won unopposed.
In the State Senate, the GOP took 25 seats and the Democrats just 14 (out of 39). This will be the first time since Reconstruction that the GOP won a majority at a regular election (although it had already flipped via party switches since the last election). 4 years ago, the GOP had only 16 seats to the Dems 23.
In the State House, the GOP leads with 54 seats and the Democrats have 41, with 1 Independent, but there are 9 seats that are undetermined or will go to runoffs, but it won’t change the partisan outcome with a GOP majority in the 105 member body. This, too, will be the first time since Reconstruction that the GOP won an outright majority, but they’ve had control since 4 years ago when a GOP Speaker was chosen.
You from Louisiana, or am I assuming too much?
