Hahahaha! Sadly, he furthers the word of the week because that is all they have - "Liar." "Romney just got up there and lied." "Duh, Yup, he lied at the right time is all."

Libs are so delusional! Their whole lives are based on lies so that is all they see and think they are seeing! Wake up!

So how does the turd campaign make up for such a loss? How much fraud will this require? What kind of national emergency can be manufactured that’s big enough to get the numbers back into the turd camp? These are the questions being addressed this second by Axelrod and company.

“Barrack Obama threw away 10 months of work and a half a billion dollars in 90 minutes.”

This is not unlike how he governs.

All these post debate analyses are fun, but I am starting to get nervous. It’s still 30 days to the election, and a lot can change.

While I don’t expect Obama to do much better in the following debates, Mitt cannot afford to get overconfident. One gaffe... one boneheaded response to a “gotcha” question, and the MSM will be all over him.

We need to keep focused and save the victory celebrations for November.

  1. 0bama doesn't have a record he can run on, so he can't defend it.
  2. He can't attack Romney in the debates, especially now that Romney is ahead, or he'll elevate Romney's stature, and lower his own.
  3. He can't defend his core belifes, because (most) Americans still abhor them.

From the Lefty perspective, this the perfect time for a "Town Hall" debate, where the collaborationist press can call upon people damaging to Romney and helpful to 0bama. Romney will have to be on his toes until debate #3, where he'll have a chance at N0mas 0bama Mano-a-mano once more.

Forgive me if I missed this in Andy's analysis of the poll, but I don't remember it from the first read through, I don't see it now.

I was reading National Journal's coverage of the poll - a more factual, non-editorial interpretation - just coverage. Did Andy mention this:

Republicans now make up 36 percent of likely voters, up from 29 percent last month. Democratic identification among likely voters declined from 39 percent last month, to 31 percent now.

If this is an accurate reflection of the breakdown of likely voters in the US, then you add in the remaining 33% independents breaking right at some proportion at least .6 (60%) - more likely much higher ... oh this is not pretty at all for the dems.

Further - those numbers tell me that people are now self-identifying for the first time based on the 'un-coolness' factor of Obama ... no longer is it that 'cool' to be a Dem. (Of course it never was.)

Unless it's just a matter of Dem voters not making it through Pew's 'likely' screen now that they are unenthused. But more likely - they are abandoning the sinking Dem ship like .... well ... rats. I don't see them going back

I've been trying to explain to a couple dem friends that the debate was not a reduction of Obama's popularity along some continuum, but that it was a structural event. I.e - the boat's not just leaking ... it took 10 cannons to the bow.

Obama wasn't merely reduced in that debate - he was shattered.

“The Pew poll is devastating, just devastating. Before the debate, Obama had a 51 – 43 lead; now, Romney has a 49 – 45 lead. That’s a simply unprecedented reversal for a candidate in October. Before Obama had leads on every policy issue and personal characteristic; now Romney leads in almost all of them. Obama’s performance gave Romney a 12 point swing! I repeat: a 12 point swing.”

The polls that had Obama in the lead were never right, as they were skewed toward 2008 exit polling data. Were these polls using 2010 data, this wouldn’t be such a shock to these morons in the media.

Romney has been winning this thing since he was nominated.

What happened in the debate is so simple it is no wonder the media can’t understand it. For four years, the media has told the world, told each other, and told themselves that Obama was smart, that he was a fantastic orator, that he was a master politician, and that he was extremely articulate.

Even four years ago, there were plenty of Youtube videos proving that without a teleprompter, Obama can’t articulate “good morning.” Not even the media was able to hide that Obama needs two teleprompters to talk to 8-year-olds. At the debate, Obama’s performance was exactly the same as it always is with no teleprompter. And the media was not able to hide the fact.

The media for the last year has told the world, told each other, and told themselves that Romney is an animal-abusing greedy demon who hates the poor and deliberately gave a woman cancer. At the debate Romney was able to articulate his vision; instead of having 30 seconds of Romney and 20 minutes of liberal analysts talking about Romney, voters go to see the real deal.

Romney is not a fantastic politician. But he is a viable alternative to Obama, and that is enough to win. I still wish the Republican party had used the opportunity of a generation to promote a staunch conservative, but the election really is ABO, and the debate will serve as the catalyst.

I don't know what any of these people expected to see in a formal debate with a 30 - 40 point IQ differential. My brother says the topic could literally have been anything at all, gardening, race cars, baseball... and the results would have been the same. Or they could have asked for a topic from the audience and taken the first one suggested, and results would have been the same.

This is what happens when a totally unvetted guy runs into real opposition for the first time ever in life.

If he is stupid enough to believe in 0bama then he is stupid enough to believe that the polls weren’t skewed.

If Obama loses the election, Little Andy may be sent back to Blighty. Obama has covered his rear end (pardon the expression) over non-citizen Little Andy’s marijuana arrest, HIV status and, I believe, being caught having public sex in Provincetown.

As I always say, America has been very bad for Little Andy.

And we are told that when Obama left the stage that night, he was feeling good. That’s terrifying.

Aides heard Obama talking to himself later that evening: "I'm an excellent driver, an excellent driver. Pop let me drive slow on the driveway every Saturday. Pop let me drive slow on the driveway. But not on Monday, definitely not on Monday."
