And this here statement is why the gop is the party of stupid...

President Barack Obama’s November victory was fueled, in part, by overwhelming support from the nation’s Hispanic, Asian and African-American communities.

His victory was due to an inept, uncommitted, etch a sketch candidate that was not really very different than the communist we have now...

fubo - communist

mcromney - socialist

if the gop wants to start winning, the formula is quite simple..

you have a party platform, back candidates that actually BELIEVE in it and will FIGHT for it... in other words, the good ol’ boys network has got to be dismantled.

That is just a bunch of meaningless posturing.

Until the Republicans offer a real alternative to the Dems, they are going to continue to lose. Why vote for Dem-lite? If the voter wants to go left, they go for the real thing -- the Democratic Party, not a party of tag-alongs.

The GOP/Republican leadership cannot seem to grasp that concept. They seem to think that, if they become MORE like the leftist Dems, they will become more electable. Sadly, the opposite is true, but they just don't get it.

Well, the Stupid Party stood by while this 2012 election was clearly stolen all across the nation. And what did they do about it? The Stupid Party didn’t do nuttin’ . . . and they never will . . .

The Stupid Party has no fire in their belly. Lincoln’s party is over and done with as long as people like Palin and Bachmann are considered to be buffoons . . . and people like Carl Rove (the Architect) are held in any kind of high esteem.

You blithering fool.

(not you SeekAndFind)

Stop selling out America. For crying out loud just stop it.

We sell out America, and send jobs elsewhere. For 20 years. And now start to wonder why we are no longer in charge?

BRING BACK AMERICAN JOBS. Now.

I hope Jindal doesn’t run for president. We need him as governor here in Louisiana to keep the communists/democrats at bay

One thing to add, the NY/East Coast MSM determined that Romney was going to be the GOP Candidate and look what it got us ? Another 4 years of Obama.

He’s right. In addition, we need to stop being the whining party. Look back through these responses.

RR won because he articulated the conservative message well (not stupidly) and projected a positive vision for the future (no whining or negativity allowed). Those tactics, if followed today, would create the same megabloc of voters that overwhelmed the liberals cobbled together coalition of freaks, free riders, and freakin MSMers.

I think Jindal means Republicans need to start playing the media's game the way the media wants them to play it. Which is hopeless, because the media will just keep changing the rules of what constitutes offensive speech ("Binders full of women") like Lucy pulling the football away from Charlie Brown.

I think limiting political debate to "Does the Constitution permit?" this particular law, tax, regulation, or other government expansion would be enough, if rigorously adhered to by the opposition coalition. I won't say Republicans, because opponents of government expansion are a minority faction within the Republican Party.

1. Jindal is a major player in the Republican Party. How does calling the Republican Party to which he belongs the “stupid party” help him or the party? Whether we agree or not, it appears like a naive statement to make in public. In private, yes. In public, no. His dem opponents will just use it against him

2. Jindal then said “We had a number of Republicans damage the brand this year with offensive and bizarre comments. I’m here to say we’ve had enough of that.” What does he mean here? Before we agree with Jindal we need to know if he was referring to conservative Republicans or liberal Republicans? I don’t trust Jindal.

Bobby needs a mirror. He does NOTHING to change the GOP or further the conservative cause. All he did during the BP “disaster” (that wasn’t) was whine and thump his chest.

Did he, as governor, tell Obama to go F off? No. Did he ignore federal BS and tell the fishing industry to keep on trucking? No. Did he tell the feds he’d sue in court and as governor welcome the help of foreign ships to clean up? NO!

Go to hell Jindal. You phoney. Try doing ONE THING to clean up 1% of the corruption in your back yard you useless twat.

Speaking of stupid statements! Jindal couldn’t have given Liberals more to use for their benefit if he’d allowed them to write for him.

The whole statement is a sickening admission that our values and principles have been flawed and we have been excluding worthy ideas and people. That’s the same speil the Liberal propaganda machine churns out every day. Now it has been acknowledged as legitimate by Republicans themselves. And in the next few weeks, more taxes will be unveiled to feed and house a new crop of Dem voters that will be put on the backs of the American taxpayers with the full consent of the Republican cowards in Congress.

I can’t wait to remove my name from the roles of this bootlicking, spineless party. Perhaps, if I live long enough, there will be a resurrection of the values that made this nation great in another political party. However, the descent into Communism usually has to run its course before a nation rises from its destruction and breeds ageneration that will fight it. An attitude adjustment in the form of a national collapse might bring that about sooner.

Until then, we will feel the burden of supporting the Obamanites until our backs break and our children take it up. Get ready, Republicans, to tolerate and bow to the antithesis of everything you ever stood for just so you can remain marginally recognized.
