You’d be surprised what people in St. Louis will do if no one is looking, well maybe even if they are looking.
I would encourage all Democrats to write in Michael Brown for every race to show their solidarity.

What an odd election. The black populace is made at the democrat contender for city council because he is a friend of the county prosecutor, who blacks want to remove himself from the case.
So they throw their weight behind the republican to punish him; a republican that his going to hurt the many municipalities that are predominately black with his policies. (They are not doing this because they are suddenly having an ephiphany about party affiliation).
Then there are those who are going to write in Mike Brown’s name against his parents wishes further diluting the vote.
The mayor of Chicago held up the reporting of vote results.
When he got a call from JFK campaign manager he asked “how many votes do you need.” The results in Chicago were released and it is said by many analysts that Chicago put JFK over the top.
Nixon and the GOP knew about the fraud but Nixon decided not to challenge the results “for the good of the country.”
The repubs have been eating dem voter fraud ever since.
In fact it goes back further. Reportedly LBJ had the ballot box stuffed when he did his first congressional run.

Supposedly Roselli and another guy went to visit Joe on orders from Giancana, to remind him of what the mob did to help him win the election and to ask why RJK and his brother were giving them such a hard time.
Joe reportedly siad he would talk to the “boys” when the gathered for the family Christmas dinner. Unfortunately, Joe had a massive stroke and the conversation did not take place.
This is the best story I’ve read about the mafia’s motive to kill JFK.
If the mafia killed JFK or help it would have violated the mafia code about not killing cops or pols. A code started in NO in the early 1890s after the mob killed the chief of police and 11 of them were lynched.
