Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee, says she hopes to run for office again and is urging GOP leaders to have "more guts" as they pursue their agenda.

Palin said in an interview with Fox Business Network on Tuesday that she is invigorated by her critics, who make her "want to work so hard for justice in this country."

"The more they're pouring on the more I'm going to bug the crap out of them by being out there with a voice, with the message, hopefully running for office in the future, too," Palin said....

Why do you say her shot at the White House has come and gone?

Heck, people are talking about Mitt Romney trying again in 2016.

Hillary bombed out in 2008 but is going to run again this time.

So why is Sarah Palin different than any other politician, who lost an election but seeks to try again????

Governor Reagan, who served two full terms in the most populous state in the country and had just two years earlier missed the GOP nomination by a small number of delegates?

All she has to do is claim “she’s the REAL Comeback kid.”

I’m inclined to agree with you, but if she was truly serious about running, winning and holding a public office she could it under a more open administration. Sarah would need to reshape the public view of her somewhat, allowing the more weak-kneed Republicans a chance to consider her as is, not as portrayed on comedy shows.

Sarah and her family would need to exercise some self discipline for the duration of the campaign, so not to allow negative stories or goofy stories (such as the Bristol
and Track Palin Birthday Brawl”) to overwhelm public perception-yet again. I can see and understand her value to us, but then, I am an independent thinker.

You know, as well as I do (or at least I hope you do) why she had to leave her governorship.

I hear ya, but Reagan’s level of substance was far more than hers. I like her, but she’s no Reagan.

Sarah blew her chances.

She had an opportunity to run for the Senate. In two different states (Arizona and Alaska).

She will need to be content with her role as a TV talking head. Her political office days are long gone.

Just a FRiendly suggestion: Try re-wording your comments so they don't sound word-for-word like the worn-out Marxist talking points. Employ some ingenuity, perhaps?

Never say never but, it seems unlikely that Sarah could run for national office and be successful. For sure I don’t want to read any more teaser kind of stuff from her. Goodness knows the media will be doing plenty of that.

I love Sarah Palin...

Do you realize the number of SP put-down posts that begin very much in this way on FR...? Most.

Why do you say her shot at the White House has come and gone?

Because it has.

Well FWIW I think Romney's shot has come and gone as well.

So why is Sarah Palin different than any other politician, who lost an election but seeks to try again????

Because Palin has about a dozen other people running for President who will rip her to shreds in the primaries. And most of whom are far better choices than she is.

Ted Cruz, Mike Pence, Scott Walker, and Paul Ryan are all solid conservatives with far more experience and infinitely more capable than Palin. I'd even give candidates like Jindal or Kasich or even Rand Paul a nod over her.

Don Young has been in Congress 42 years. He is now 81 years old. Might Sarah be thinking about succeeding him as Alaska’s at-large representative; you hate to speculate like this, but there is a possibility that he dies in the middle of a term (figuring that this guy is going to try to stay in the House as long as he can), and she gets elected in the ensuing special election.

Why would Mrs. Palin go from a Vice-Presidential candidate to being one of 435 House members? The House is a very poor platform from which to wage a future Presidential run.

again, where does their stance on the issues show as superior to hers?

all these possibilities, and not one of them other than cruz, MAYBE, the others are not even close, cant get out of their own way to get anywhere.
