Patriot Action Network's Patriot Caucus is hosting a final 2014 poll to gauge the views of our members when it comes to 2016. We know it's early, but truth is some of these campaigns will likely begin kicking into gear the first quarter of 2015.

With this in mind, please consider selecting your first pick for 2016 ....

Let them duke it out. Get the GOPe out of the way and we will see.

Every Republican voter would have to change their voter registration to independent overnight to get the GOP-e out of the way.

I don't even know if that would work.

They're going to pull every dirty trick and do whatever it takes to put their chosen one at the top of our ticket again. It's going to take a massive shoulder to shoulder effort to get a conservative as our nominee.

His thoughts on the 2nd Amendment are too off base to be that close to the Presidency.

Do you have something specific that he has said regarding 2A that you find troubling?

You may want to listen to this also.

Can you say Barack?

Before you answer, recall just how often he was not present for votes and of the times he could have cast a vote, how many did he simply vote “Present”.

Rhetorical

I’d like to see him run for mayor of Detroit next time around. He’s a hometown hero, could actually provide a little moral leadership in a city that needs it

I like it.

Run Ben, Run!

My vote was Carly Fiorina. Fiorina served as chief executive officer of Hewlett-Packard from 1999 to 2005 and previously was an executive at AT&T and its equipment and technology spinoff, Lucent.

Fiorina was considered one of the most powerful women in business during her tenure at Lucent and Hewlett-Packard. While she was chief executive at HP, the company weathered the collapse of the dot-com bubble, although the stock lost half of its value throughout her tenure.[1] In 2002, the company completed a contentious merger with rival computer company Compaq, which made HP the world’s largest personal computer manufacturer.[2] In 2005, Fiorina was forced to resign as chief executive officer and chairman of HP following “differences [with the board of directors] about how to execute HP’s strategy.”

I can’t be held responsible for what the majority of voters consider “government experience” but at least on paper, he had quite a bit.

Yeah, I do. I'm very surprised you haven't heard about his awful opinion about people in large cities not needing high powered rifles with large capacity magazines.

It's been discussed ad infinitum on this forum.

Ah....gotcha.

What's even more interesting, is that Fiorina's in this poll, while Palin isn't.

Think I may just leave a comment at the link about that.

When I picked Scott Walker, I was so worried about his ranking. Much to my pleasant surprise, he was doing great. He is the highest Governor which we need this time. Having a Senator as President the last 8 years has been a disaster. We need a President with executive experience. Governors are the way to go in 2016. Our first Gen X President Scott Walker.....how proud am I??????

I think he was referring to a U.S. citizen without any government experience.
