The Problem with Jade Helm
Frontpage Mag ^ | May 22, 2015 | by Arnold Ahlert

Jade Helm 15, a large-scale military operation conducted by U.S. Army Special Operations Command and service members from the military’s four branches, scheduled to take place in several states between July 15 and September 15, 2015, has elicited a firestorm of criticism. Many have gone so far as to claim the exercises are a prelude to the imposition of martial law, especially in Texas, one of the states designated as “hostile” territory. However, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) puts the issue in the proper perspective, noting why it’s reasonable that Americans would be concerned about the operation.

Officials have already spoken out about this though. There hasn’t been silence. It’s just never enough for the conspiracy types.

I haven’t yet heard of any plans to shadow these troops or to (legally) confuse the operation but I’d have to think that there are some efforts being planned.

Talk about misleading. They aren’t going “door-to-door”, someone called them (the FBI) with concerns about this operation, and the FBI sent someone to talk to them. If the FBI hadn’t responded, this kook would probably have written a story that the FBI was stonewalling him.

Aren’t you contradicting your previous comment to the effect that conspiracy theorists won’t be reassured so why should the government bother to speak out? That was basically what you were saying. So is the government speaking out on this or not bothering to? Which one is it?

My response is one big ?

Why is the FBI involved with canvassing civilians who "might know more than the government"? Given NSA's surveillance, and the social network analysis being done, they already KNOW who knows what, and where to find them.

We have seen multiple threads here on FR outlining how things are supposed to be done with FTX/CTX's of this magnitude (hell, I've been in several). Little this regime has done since 2009 has followed anything we've done up to now.

Maybe there's talk of tinfoil-hat theories, but with all the disclosures of what's actually going on, it's no longer science fiction, it's current events.

Certain politicians have already made statements, obviously, because Louis Gohmert is referenced as doing so in the article (Ted Cruz did too).

The point is, it doesn’t matter. Conspiracy kooks don’t form their beliefs rationally, so you can’t reason them out of them. There isn’t any point to catering to them, you won’t change their minds anyway.

Ah, I see. Probably called in to the state police talking all sorts of craziness and they didn't want to deal with it so they forwarded it to the FBI.

Well, he got a response, so what is he complaining about? Let's see, you want the government to respond to your concerns, but when they do respond you use it as more fodder for conspiracy theories?

In our area they are running around in the woods and they are encountering individuals in full battle rattle with AR’s and binocs up on the ridges observing their every move. :-)

It sure seems as if the U.S. Army is preparing for modern-day martial law, and frankly, I expect Obama to try something like that. You don’t really expect our dictator wannabe to leave office willingly, do you?

Perhaps this guy has been targeted because his efforts to ask questions were so successful in his state of Colorado. Rumor is that Colorado has backed out of Jade Helm.

Colorado backs out of Jade Helm 15 exercise
http://govtslaves.info/colorado-backs-out-of-jade-helm-15-exercise/

One General with the Phoenix Militia states it’s troubling to imagine Northcom and NORAD which have been conducting Homeland security since 9/11 at NORAD have been excluded.

How can you have a 6 state exercise on martial law without the nation’s best and biggest logistics and a command center participating?

Now local media in Colorado are reporting Colorado is not going to participate in the exercise.

Around my area in the northern woods, if the US military (I am a veteran myself) was to operate here like they want in Texas, they soon would find several of their soldiers hanging upside down by their feet, hands tied behind their backs and striped with a sign on them that reads: “if you come back here to play, the next time we will hang you the other way!”

That has merit, but the real targets should be those WHO GIVE THE ORDERS. Cut off the head and the snake is dead.

If you want to designate a "hostile" territory, I would start with New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and California.

Yep, from behind enemy lines in one of the red patches in New Jersey.

Video: FBI Now Going Door-To-Door Interrogating Americans About Jade Helm Military Exercises: “We Follow Up With Anything Like That”

According to the federal agents who visited James Casale in Colorado, they are merely trying to gather more information about this Summer’s military operation from citizens who may have come across information not yet available to the FBI.

Article and # 14 , # 26.

I’m a Christian. Not a normal one by any means. I read my bible a lot. I don’t care for the “Church” but work with in the Church. Not much into theology, the study of the bible using your head. What’s going on today is prophecy.
Isaiah 3:12

As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.
The “Church” is teaching people to obey government. Government used it to take guns during Katrina. We aught to obey God, not me.
