Revealed: Ted Cruz Is Crushing Hillary In This Big Indicator Of Electoral Success

The Clinton camp is scrambling to catch up.

Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is off to a booming start in terms of super PAC fundraising. His campaign’s primary political action committees reportedly took in a combined $31 million in just their first week of existence last month. Compared to his chief Democrat rival, Hillary Clinton, Cruz’s haul is even more impressive.

Projections indicate that, even by the end of next month, Clinton’s Priorities USA Action super PAC will bring in less than half of what Cruz was able to raise in just a week.

In response to the disappointing numbers, Clinton backers have replaced high-level committee officials in an effort to attract new donors. One insider told the Wall Street Journal that some involved in the campaign had “unhappiness with the lack of leadership in the organization.”

Another source confirmed there was a unanimous opinion among staffers that “fundraising needed to be stepped up significantly.”

Meanwhile, Cruz is amassing a war chest his supporters hope will take him through the nomination process and into the general election, at which time he can go head-to-head with Clinton – assuming she fulfills expectations by securing her party’s nomination.

Political analyst Mark Halperin concluded that the Cruz campaign and its “eye-popping” ability to raise money is not only a threat to Clinton, but “instantly raises the stakes in the Republican fundraising contest.”

As multiple scandals continue to take their toll on Clinton’s candidacy and reputation, only time will tell if a few personnel changes at Priorities USA Action will bridge the fundraising gap.

So all that Team Hillary "we'll raise two and a half billion dollars" talk was blowing smoke? Folks, right now, just the top individual bundler in my class (Federalists, the lowest of the ranks) has raised $544,936.04 since March 23rd, and that's just in Texas. The SuperPACs are a whole different deal and not officially part of the campaign, IIRC.

They just have to figure out how to move the money out of the Foundation & into her campaign. A few months & the current controversy will be put to bed. Then they’ll do it.

Ted Cruz has definitely tapped into something that is seething just below the surface all through the territory once known as “the United States of America”, and it may have a great deal to do with a resurgence of that formerly great nation.

Maybe armed insurgency will not be necessary to take back our country. But a couple of tripwires are very close to activation.

Why do sites that have comments insist upon loading scripts from a bunch of 3rd party sites? Some of us use a javascript blocker, and I for one get sick and tired of having to figure out which sites to allow, and which can remain blocked, just to view the only thing I really care about, which are the comments to an article. Westernjournalism isn't as bad as most, but it is still inexcusable.

Cruz/Walker or Walker/Cruz.

Cruz doesn’t miss a day of campaigning or making a speech somewhere.
His “red line” would be real.

Jebbie, the Dauphin. The Dauphin of France (French: Dauphin de France, IPA: [dofɛ̃])—strictly The Dauphin of Viennois (Dauphin de Viennois)—was the title given to the heir apparent to the throne of France from 1350 to 1791 and 1824 to 1830. The word is French for dolphin, as a reference to the depiction of the animal on their coat of arms. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dauphin_of_France

I think it’s well above the surface. The thing is the MSM is in full Orwell mode alongside the Lesser Evils in the RINO wing making excuses for why your lying eyes deceive you. All thats left out so far is Agent K and the nuerolyzer.

I think she was planning on using the “Crime Family Funds”; because nobody would know .. RIGHT ..???

I’m not surprised Ted is winning all over the place. He just won a huge straw poll and then got a standing “O” in GA.

Anybody who does not take him seriously .. does so at their own peril.

Today, I heard a snarky remark from another candidate - but sadly I missed who it was. Something about foreign policy cannot be learned from committee briefs (which is what is prepared after a committee hearting - and all the members get a copy). This information is probably all Ted needs to be brought up to speed about what took place in the hearings.

Remember, as Solicitor General, I believe Ted supervised approx. 700 State of TX attorneys. That would probably require him to know what all their cases were; and to be advising or assisting them in their cases.

But, the comment came from the fact that as a “Presidential Candidate”, Cruz is gone a lot of the time - and I wouldn’t put it past the others on that committee to purposely hold hearings when they know he will be away.

AND .. this little dust-up is an EXAMPLE of my idea that the GOPe has purposely encouraged (or helped) more than a couple of the “extra” candidates in the group - FOR ONE PURPOSE ONLY - TO TAKE OUT TED CRUZ.

I’m sure they feel that if the group is LARGE ENOUGH .. the more it will dilute the numbers, and they will be able to get rid of Ted as a candidate. And .. it will spread the money thinner - denying Cruz a larger share of donations.

Just watch the comments the newby people are saying .. especially, Gramnesty, and Huckabee, and/or Jeb.

To ‘H’ with Clinton. I think the message here is Cruz cleaning the clocks of the other Republicans, and that should continue to be his focus. After all it’s the nomination that’s the goal now. Democrats, and the Clintons are down the road yet.

If Hillary was a sure thing to be president her campaign war chest should be overflowing but it looks like the big Democrat donors are taking a wait and see approach on her. Maybe they sense what we think and the kook, lefty base doesn’t want to admit to, and that is Hillary is in real trouble. She should have fifteen to twenty million in the bank already, and not the paltry half million she’s garnered so far. Maybe I’m being overly optimistic but I sense, with each week gone by since her announcement for president, that a vast majority of Americans don’t want her as our next chief executive.
