Political Prediction Market: Cruz edges ahead of Trump

(CNN)Donald Trump is still the GOP front-runner in opinion polls, but Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has seen a surge on CNN's Political Prediction Market, and is now seen by players as more likely than the billionaire businessman to be the Republican nominee.

Cruz's odds -- which stand at 21% -- are greater than Trump's 20% odds for the first time, according to the Political Prediction Market, a live, online game, conducted by the company Pivit for CNN. It uses polling data and input from its 25,000 users to predict outcomes.

Movement on the Political Prediction Market has clearly been affected by Cruz's improved standing in some polls, particularly in Iowa. In a recent Quinnipiac University poll released Tuesday, Trump remained first in Iowa with 25%, but Cruz edged Ben Carson out for second with 23% support. The game does not measure the support of players, but instead has players predict who they think will come out on top.

Rita, it’s supposed when all Hell freezes over the HUGE climate talks to be held in Paris will be a ‘non-given’ nod to the bravery of the high almighty mucky-mucks, eh?

ValJar’s wooden headed puppet is certainly having one hellofatime in making that ‘legacy’ claim to fame.

GO TRUMP! GO CRUZ!~ YOU WIN OR WE LOSE!!

I haven’t had time to know what’s up with Zero’s climate play. It seems to be polling at about issue #23, with the American voters right now, and I confess I have not read past headlines on the subject.

I do get your drift though on climate change and Hell freezing over. :D

It’s good to see Cruz break out.
Thought it would never happen.

Naaaa, it can’t be because Ted Cruz has done the hard work of campaigning , building a robust infrastructure in Iowa and other states. Sarcasm.

Trump has said Cruz would be a good VP pick. If Cruz ends up beating Trump, I doubt Trump would take that slot. So who would be the best VP for Cruz?

My pick would be Gov. Martinez of NM. We should steal most of the Hispanic vote, & a lot of the female vote.

IIRC big deals are made of even less reliable polls like after debate polls on Drudge.
