Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are locked in a tight Republican race - separated by just three points - according to results from a new national NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll. Trump is the first choice of 30 percent of Republican primary voters - followed by Cruz at 27 percent, John Kasich at 22 percent and Marco Rubio at 20 percent.

Last month, the same NBC/WSJ poll found Cruz with a two-point lead over Trump, 28 percent to 26 percent, but that was before Trump's big wins in South Carolina and Nevada.
The new NBC/WSJ poll - conducted mostly after last Thursday's raucous GOP debate and Mitt Romney's blistering anti-Trump speech - differs from the weekly national NBC SurveyMonkey online poll, which showed Trump leading Cruz by 19 points, 39 percent to 20 percent. The NBC SurveyMonkey poll was conducted Feb. 29-March 6, so half before the debate and Romney's speech.....

This is the same bogus WSJ/NBC poll they always run right before primaries. Trump is actually UP from their last BS poll.
Trump wouldn’t even know the capital city of the DPRK if you sprung it on him in a pop geopolitical quiz. I’d be much more comfortable with the Senator knowing his ass from a hole in the ground with respect to the Norkies.

Actually, I don't "dismiss" a poll just because I disagree. I will dismiss a poll if it uses questionable methodology - like an online poll. But if you look at my posting history, my response whether the poll is positive or negative toward my candidate always includes the caveat that a single poll is not reliable - you have to compare to other polls and to previous versions of the same poll to see if a trend is developing. Now this is the 2nd poll today that is showing a significant narrowing of the race. Is this the beginning of a trend? After the vote on Saturday, it seems likely to me - but the vote tonight will tell us more.
At this point, unless Trump were to drop out, a vote for Cruz is a vote for a brokered convention.

Mabye a better idea would be to drop the infantile insults and realize in order to win you are going to need that “special snow flake” voting for your candidate in Nov.
