Hillary Clinton was supposed to have a cake walk against Donald Trump in November, but a growing number of leaders within the Democratic Party are expressing worry that Trump may be a more formidable foe than expected.
Leading up to this primary season, there was a pervasive hope among Democrats that Trump would be the nominee. Many predicted a win so big that it would not only sweep Clinton into the White House, but help Democrats regain critical seats in Congress, giving her a much stronger platform to accomplish her objectives.
But much of that hope has been dissolving, as Trump wrapped up the Republican nomination and began to pull in support around him. After a big win in Indiana finished off Ted Cruz and John Kasich, Trump has been mending bridges within the Republican Party and climbing ever-higher in the polls....

I still think before the election/convention Hillary will drop out for ‘health’ reasons. The dim higher ups will ‘suggest’ she do that.
In comes Biden and/or Warren.

The Donald is in negotiations to close the biggest deal in which he has ever sat at the table. And he knows to not put anything up there he is not ready to negoiate away.
So far, The Donald has been setting the terms and the agenda for this electoral contest in November. The best Herself can come up with, when The Donald throws out one of his potential winning bids, is a weak “Me, too”, none too convincingly. An example, The Donald gets up before the NRA, and pledges to appoint Federal judges and Supreme Court justices to the bench that will view the Second Amendment as a valid part of the Constitution, while Herself says, “Well, sure I will protect the Second Amendment, but first we need some....” Right away, it is clear that the rifle stifle rules will be put in place to DESTROY the intent of the Second Amendment.
Similar things for national defense, and international trade agreements, and immigration reform, whatever Herself THINKS any of that means.
It boils down to, who will make the nominations for the Supreme Court.

I’ve never understood why the Dems couldn’t find better horses than Clinton and Sanders (and O’Malley) to put into the race.
There are plenty more of them that are scared. This is going to be a security mom election.
The Democrats had a MUCH better horse, and one that, just maybe, have been able to sway the “uncommitted middle” they are so fond of saying the Republicans should groom themselves to attract.
Jim Webb, a former Secretary of of the Navy and Assistant Secretary of Defense (under Reagan), and a decorated USMC officer, who was in actual combat against an enemy that was firing live rounds AT him, was just the profile that could have taken the Democrats to victory with this “uncommitted middle”. Trouble was, that is also exactly the profile that Democrats would NOT vote for, in any election.
She won’t get “super” delegates at the genergy election. She’s toast.
Let’s just say she’s always sipped her coke from a glass, not with a straw.
