Hillary Clintons speech Tuesday reveling in her historic title as the first woman to clinch a major political partys presidential nomination drew praise from an unlikely source Wednesday: a Republican who has endorsed Donald Trump.
Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich described the reality stars toned down, teleprompter speech Tuesday as very fine but cast Clintons remarks as a spectacular speech that was very effective.
Let me first say that I thought Hillary Clintons speech last night was very effective, Gingrich said Wednesday via Facebook live. No conservative, no Republican should assume that shes gonna be a pushover.
After apologizing for his hair its not quite right, he said, but will be cut Thursday Gingrich suggested that Clinton will be a formidable challenger to Trump....

I was thinking today, it really needs to be Allen B. West. He’s the only one on the national scene strong enough to take over if anything should ever happen to Trump, God forbid.
.
Gringrich praised Obama like he was the Savior in 2008 and part of 2009.
If he’s smart, it’s hard to explain.
.
I wonder what the Antiques Roadshow appraisal would be?
Newt, like Hillary, is part of the Old Older.
Step aside.
He says it might be a former rival who hasn’t endorsed him yet and eliminated Rick Perry, if that helps.
hillary said nothing. And that outfit! Michelin man comes to mind.
Really? This shit again?
In Japan, Obama said there was little difference between Clinton and Sanders,
Andrew Como says the only difference between Clinton and Sanders is Clinton can get things done.
I’d guess whatever Newt saw was either to his liking or a con-job, not ‘spectacular speech’ and ‘very effective’.
Newt must have stroked out
I like West a lot, but I don’t think a one-term congressman who most Republicans don’t even know is going to be a high enough profile for the job. He could be head of the VA or something like that. I’d like to see him run for Florida Senate or go back to the House and build a following. I don’t know why he didn’t.
Newt wants a job.
Gingrich is Kaput. Say good-night Newt.
Establishment weasel who is trying to ensure he & his 3rd wife keep getting invited to all the right Georgetown cocktail parties. I think he might be a Clinton mole. Trump should drop Newt like a bad habit.
Buh-bye, Gingrich. You’re too cozy with the Rats. Trump take notice - scratch him off the veep list.
If Trump finds Newtie a job, Newtie better be very closely supervised, since neither Newtie nor anybody else knows at any time, on any day, whether it will be the Good Newtie or the Bad Newtie that appears.
Evidently Sheldon Adelson was pushing hard for Newt to be Trump’s VP. Trump would have none of it. Word is that he offered $100,000,000 to the Trump campaign for selecting Newt. Same amount he pledged to Newt’s campaign in 2012. He ended up only giving about $10 mill. as Newt crashed shortly thereafter.
Word is that Trump will probably go with Jeff Sessions if Sessions agrees. Which would be an outstanding choice.
Looks like ‘Ol Newts turned out to be one first class two faced asshole. Pardon my French.
That would be some convention surprise!
West got redistricted right out of his seat. I think the Republican Party of Florida helped that happen.
