ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — A Hillary Clinton supporter from Anchorage is suing Alaska's three members of the Electoral College, claiming their anticipated votes for President-elect Donald Trump next Monday will violate her constitutional rights.

Janice Park's lawsuit will be heard Thursday in federal court in Anchorage. It claims that since Clinton is winning the overall nationwide popular vote, her vote for Clinton will not be counted as a full vote since Trump will likely win the electoral college process. She claims this will deprive her of her Fifth Amendment rights of equal protection and the principal of one person, one vote....

“scratching my head” I think that’s what she just said. I don’t know where these people come from or what drives their hatred. I am perplexed why the CIA would like to the Congressional Intelligence committee about the socalled “Intel implicating Putin”. Its like the whole Democrat party has lost their minds

One person, one vote. Such a strange name for a school.

Bravo to what you said! It bears repeating:

Time for all States to increase the penalties for filing frivolous lawsuits. Including to lawyers who accept them as clients.

Janice must not realize that she voted for the Democrat electors in Alaska, not for Clinton. They lost the popular vote count in Alaska.

There is no such thing as a “National Popular Vote”, but we allow the anti-American leftist trash to perpetuate such a lie.

Then, since Hillary won Virginia, I can sue Virginia that my rights are being violated by Virginia electors voting for her!

Carry this across the country and see how it works...

DUH!

Never seen the Dems so desperate........

Wow the left is having a total, complete, unmitigated temper tantrum. Like a 2 year old they’re kicking, screaming and whining because they can’t get their own way. And like a 2 year old they don’t understand reason, logic or reality.

The demented leftist is claiming the US Constitution's prescribed method of electoral votes (and not popular votes) determining the President "violates her constitutional rights."

Does this lunatic think she has her own "Constitution" that supersedes the US constitution or is she so far down the rabbit hole of leftist Orwellian doublespeak that she can't understand the absurdity of her claim?

The same question applies to any judge accepting her lawsuit!

If she read the Constitution, she would probably be surprised to learn that Alaska doesn't have to hold a vote at all to determine the electors. (Art II, Sec 1, Clause 2: Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress) Voting for electors is a tradition.

So her argument is that the constitution is unconstitutional?

That seems about right. I wonder if she hired a lawyer. I hope he racks up a large bill. LOL!

Wow! The reporter who wrote this article isn’t entirely brain-dead!

The popular vote doesn’t decide the winner of the presidential race, and Trump defeated Clinton by nearly 47,000 votes in Alaska.[end quote]

“Just goes to show you that a lawyer will argue any case as long as you pay them.”

DUH! That’s how the free market works.

Just goes to show you that a cab driver will ferry you to any address you want as long as you pay them.

Just goes to show you that a short order cook will prepare any meal you order as long as you pay him.

Just goes to show you that the piano player will tickle out any tune you want as long as you pay him.

Just goes to show you that a painter will paint your house any color you want as long as you pay them.

If we were to get a couple of Clinton appointed Justices that could well be a Decision handed down. More likely the Constitution would be taken apart piece by piece, starting with ruling the 2Amd to be either unconstitutional or to mean the opposite of tits wording. There is a sort of precedent at the state level. Colorado a few years ago ruled an article of the State Constitution to be un(state)constitutional and the ruling was accepted by just about everybody as legitimate.

I remember a time when frivolous cases were thrown out by judges before they ever got heard in open court. Lawyers mostly would not take them, even if prepaid because it would damage their reputations and reduced thereby their future incomes.

Now just about anything is admitted into court (there are, of course exceptions, but they are rare compared with before) and juries believe them to be serious questions at law because they were placed before them for hearing so you get verdicts and judgments that make no sense in the law.

Apparently, this is not Ms. Park’s first run at suing without merit:
