The hospital where Rep. Steve Scalise is recovering after being shot during practice for a congressional baseball game says the congressman remains in critical condition and will require several more operations.
MedStar Washington Hospital Center is also providing a more detailed description of Scalise's wounds. The hospital says he was shot in the left hip, after which "the bullet travelled across his pelvis, fracturing bones, injuring internal organs and causing severe bleeding."(continued)

Has anyone seen an update on the lobbyist that was also critical?
May God heal Rep. Steve Scalise and comfort his family. May he give the doctors the wisdom and skill to repair the damage to his body.
May God Bless the United States of America and heal this nation to once again shine his light on the darkness in the world.
Prayers up...BIG TIME....that he makes it.
God forbid that he die because if he does, there is gonna be some serious hell to pay and rightly so.
I hope all his doctors are extremely vetted.
Saw a suggestion he was one of the few Reps actually concerned about the contents of wikileaks in regard to the kids.
It may seem like hyperbole, but we are in the deepest waters our Republic has been in quite a long time.

Wow, this is tough.
Perhaps some of the most painful injuries one can sustain. Prayers for a good recovery.
