Your comments made me aware, once again, of how much we are subjected to the liberal bias in the media.

They obsess for hours and hours over the President's Military records yet continue to hide the Drudge Report, claiming they are "vetting it". Well, how much "vetting" have they given to the ANG and Pres. Bush's service? Running on innuendo and casting doubts on his service, they won't stop no much how proof they get.

Meanwhile, Kerry 'skates'. At least this intern didn't wind up dead in Rock Creek Park and is in Africa instead.

I honestly think that the tabloids, once again unafraid of the Dims and big money, will break this story wide open. I can't help but wonder if they are traipsing off to Africe to find this intern or "former AP" person.

Hi, Truthy, how are you? I haven't been around much the last few weeks, so catch me up on the job search.

I have no problem with the mainstream press verifying the Kerry story. It's the responsible thing to do. What I DO have a problem with is that they don't offer the same courtesy when somebody like Terry McAuliffe states the President was AWOL without a shred of proof. They took that rumor and have been running with it. Journalism was once an honest profession, and journalists prided themselves on accuracy, truth, and investigative research. It seems that now anybody can whisper a rumor and they report it. They might check it out later if they're backed into a corner, but they have no concern about the harm it can do to their victim, who may be innocent. I don't like John Kerry, but I would hate to think our political process is now so tainted that we get rid of the opposition by rumor mongering. Time will tell if this story has any legs, and it's too bad they didn't show some restraint before they maligned W's military record. Harm's been done to both men with this careless, partisan reporting.

I change my font size all the time (56k modem) when loading the Dose and the Yahoo pages with photos, Drudge, etc. Then I change them back when the page is done loading and it's time to read.

I began doing this way back with my first modem (14k) because it wouldn't load more than the first few lines of some web pages -- and like I said, I still do it because even with the 56k, I can't load some pages wholly. It gives the modem far less digits to import at one whack.

That's true. I am not a communist, democrat, republican, or socialist. I truly want to see some truth in all this but there are conflicting stories that make me wonder what is going on in this country.

When Bush took office on Jan. 20th, 2000, I was rooting for him. Sincerly. But my attitude of him has changed since we went to war for reasons we still cannot explain. And now while we are still at war trying to fight war on terrorism, he refuses to put the national guard on our borders but instead has them deployed overseas to fight and protect foreign interests and borders. This makes no sense to me. While our borders are wide open, I am hearing of Mexican diplomats smuggling Al Quada types into the U.S. We don't know who these people are that are here in the U.S. illegally. We don't know if they are trying to create another 9-11 incident or what.

All I understand as an American, and I am sure you understand as well, is that our liberties and individual freedom, that our forefathers fought and died for over 200 years ago have been fought in vain, and they are probably turning over in their graves if they are hearing about some idiot treasonous Congressmember to impose on Americans the Patriot Act I and II.

There have been dozens of threads on FR documenting the President's military record, and there must be a hundred about WMD.

If you are interested, the facts are all out there for you to see.

The stockpiles of WMD have not been found yet, but every intelligence agency and every leader in the world knew that they were there. Besides which, David Kay said that Saddam Hussein was even MORE dangerous than suspected.

As for our borders, they are NOT wide open.

And as for your original post that President Bush must go...........your alternative is a lying, anti-American, anti-military, pro-abortion leftist........John Kerry. Is that what you really want?
