I didn't hear him say, other than from the Internet. He said that NBC is still suppressing the audio. He wasn't sure this audio was from that Meet the Press interview, but played it for public consumption.

KRLA's website replays Hugh's show for the next 24 hours. You can hear it the clip played in the last 15 minutes of hour 1 of the show, so you'd be able to hear it again at 8:45, 11:45, etc. (that's Central time).

I believe this is the link:

"Please elaborate."

None of the big 5 liberal media is mentioning Kerry's past.

Look, this is simple.

If Kerry can go from wearing a uniform to leading a capitulation movement (what he did to McCain is unforgivable) in only 3 years time, (that's less than 1 term) he'll do the same in office.

And Kerry's only response is what, to blame (in advance!) the Bush campaign for criticizing his war record?!

That open letter to the President was pretty looney, on a scale with {Perot: you disrupted my daughter's wedding!} and he has already hurt himself with it. It also seems to advertise that he's afraid of his past.

As if it took the White House to come up with this audio and get the word out.

I can see it now. During the convention, he will be wearing heavy makeup. During one segment, he will give an emotional account of an atrocity he committed while in Vietnam and then will proceed to explain why this makes him a victim and why the Republicans are guilty of making him do all those awful things blah blah blah...

"All of this is contrary to the Geneva Conventions."

Depending on the particular circumstances, none of what he did is contrary to the Geneva Convention. You can destroy structures used by the enemy. You can establish free fire zones. And you can surely use a 50 cal.

""I used 50 caliber machine guns, which we were granted, ordered to use which were our only weapon against people.

From what I understand, he got the Bronze Star for his act of jumping from his boat and running down and killing a wounded VC who had fired a RPG at his boat. Are we to assume that since he said a 50 cal was the only weapon they were issued, and if I am correct, the swift boats had dual 50s hard mounted in a gun carriage, that the Senator carried this several hundred pound weapon ashore with him to dispatch the wounded VC? Not even John Wayne could handle that task. And if the VC was wounded by a massive 50 cal round, was he in any condition to to offer resistance? It is a war crime to intentionally shot wounded combatants who are not offering resistance. The Geneva Convention states that if possible, they must be taken as POWs, treated humanely, and given medical treatment.

McBride's email list has served me well. At least the "mill" is shutting down. John Edwards e-farewell: excerpt

And today, I see their faces. I see the faces of the men and women who worked in the mill in Robbins, North Carolina - the mill my father worked in, the mill I worked in. I can picture their faces as clear as they are in front of me right now, lint in their hair an grease on their faces, men and women who represent the best of what America is.

However, I'm sure the trial lawyer Mill is still open for bizness.

What we need is for Ketchup to open up his military records so that we can really get a good look as to why and how he earned these "medals" and why only 4 months in Vietnam.

Question for John Kerry (who in the press would have the courage to ask?):

Senator Kerry, you testified before Congress that you personally committed atrocities in VietNam. If you did, you are guilty of crimes. If you did not, you are guilty of lying to Congress. Please explain, since you clearly did one or the other, how neither of these crimes disqualifies you from seeking the Presidency?
