Among those who apparently didn't listen to the 43-year-old unemployed woman whose recorded message was posted online last week by The Republic were Arizona's Jon Kyl and John McCain, along with 24 of their Senate colleagues, all of them collecting fat government paychecks.

Have you been watching Lou Dobbs? He's the most vocal newsperson on this outsourcing mess. I hope all is better the next time I "see" ya. Take care!

I watch Dobbs whenever I can. He's the only one talking about outsourcing and illegal immigration. I love him! The Democrats are paying attention to Lou Dobbs and the Republicans aren't. The RATS will take the outsourcing material from the Lou Dobbs show and use it for campaign propaganda. Meanwhile the Republicans are asleep at the switch.

I see plenty of Democrats on Dobbs show speaking out against outsourcing. With totally stupid socialist solutions but at least they are expressing the gripes of the electorate. And voters will vote accordingly since Republicans don't seem to give a flip

"It's hard to beleive that 3.5 years ago, Republicans were thinking that the middle class was in their pocket and that this was going to be "the Republican era..."

It's hard to beleive that they do not think that the mutual fund crisis, $2.00 plus per gallon in unleaded and that outsourcing will not result in a demorat landslide. And that's just the tip of the iceberg issue wise!

Thirdly, you can not outsource your job, but you can import enough Mexicans to put wage and earnings pressure on it. I see it every day here in Florida where an illegal will do your job for 30-40% less.

The great American middle class is getting wage (salary) pressures from two directions. Outsourcing, shipping good paying jobs aboard. And immigration (insourcing), whether legal or illegal. Both tap into a greater pool of workers.... greater supply of workers produces lower wages and salaries. Admittedly some immigration and outsourcing does lead to a better economy in the USA. But 80% of the story is the reduction of the middle class standard of living and certain elites who know how to profit by making this happen.

" Sorry for the tirade, but some of you damned well need it!"

It doesn't matter to me that you gave a tirade, but for God's sake, can you do something other than read the daily RNC faxblast! There are serious issues here. The fact that a large portion of the jobs created in the last three years were created by the government should set off an alarm. But the RINOs could care less as long as the stats look good for election time. W is about as conservative as Jimmy Carter if you look at the expansion of government into every aspect of your life.

And some aspects are going to be in demorat control someday. But if it doesn't matter you, why should I give a crap. I'm retired and get to play the role of spectator. It does irk me though to watch the term "nationalism" become a dirty phrase while "globalism" emerges as the new catch phrase for this decade.

"I like Larry Kudlow, but I heard him argue that the economy is doing better because the CIO of Hewlett-Patel got a bigger check last year. Thats not very convincing, especially to the thousands of workers that lost their jobs overseas."

I like Kudlow also but Dobbs on the other network has me addicted to his show. He's been putting everyone on the spot over this issue and no one has yet to answer the question as to how outsourcing benefits American workers. When you tie that in with the sieve of a border we have, it's easy to see what will happen this decade. Hopefully someone in charge will start to pay attention, but after 8 years of Bubba and 3 years of W, I don't see it happening.

$2.00 plus per gallon in unleaded ..........

You ain't seen nothing yet until John Kerry starts hammering on the high gasoline prices. Which are mostly due to the patchwork of boutique fuels due to wacky environmental legislation. Which the Democrats are the top promoters of!!! Makes for so many custom runs for thr refineries and other expenses. Why do you think California gas prices are so out of sight? Blame the enviros.

It's not a reduction to the bushbots until their house is foreclosed on. Apparently ignorning the middle class is more important than reducing government interference with the capitalist engine. What is ignored by the bots is the increase in regulations and taxation which has occurred at the second tier and which primarily impacts small businesses the hardest. Oh well. I guess I'd best learn Spanish so I can go grocery shopping in the future.

I know. I'm going to sell my SUV now and get a 4 banger in a small pickup. I can see the writing on the wall that the envirowhackos and tax and spend pubbies will keep gas prices over $2.00 permanently now. We're almost there in Florida, $1.829 where I live, and once we top $2.00 I can see a massive poll surge for that rat Kerry. With Kerry in charge, $3.00 gas won't be far away.

He's (Lou Dobbs) been putting everyone on the spot over this issue and no one has yet to answer the question as to how outsourcing benefits American workers.

Because it's all a lie. It the "Tragedy of the commons" Each corporation is eager to outsource, promote amnesty schemes for illegals and otherwise screw their American workers and the American wage scale. They don't care that in the long run there will be a lot less consumer purchasing power left to buy the stuff they want to sell here. This is simply not an issue. Each corporation wants to exploit the commons as selfishly and as quickly as possible. (I am generalizing but this is what's going on)

What is the "commons" that is up for grabs? The great pool of American middle class wealth. Whether in jobs, pensions, savings, annuities, real estate. It's the goose that laid the golden egg and powerful economic forces are on their way to collectively kill this goose as they separately exploit it.

YEP, the new floor is $1.80/$2.00 per gallon gasoline. IMHO Florida gas prices are better than some other places.

I like such pickups. Just always wear seat belts and drive defensively. Cannot relax as much as in a larger vehicle due to greater vulnerability in an accident..... 95% of which can be avoided by defensive driving.

And we're going to have to import the goose from Mexico to kill it.

Oil Prices Climb Back Toward 1 - Year Peaks

By REUTERS

Filed at 3:57 a.m. ET

SINGAPORE (Reuters) - Oil prices climbed back toward one-year peaks Wednesday after the world's top exporter Saudi Arabia told Japan and South Korea to expect less crude in April, in line with an OPEC production cut due to take effect that month.

The dollar sinking due to trade deficits .... this also makes crude oil prices higher in the USA.

"I've been told, right here, that trade deficits don't count."

I've been told the same thing. So don't worry, be happy. $50 bbl. oil is not important. 20 million, hell 50 million illegal aliens from Mehico is not important. The only thing that is important is to re-elect W so he can fix all the problems he didn't have time for in his first term.

They simply are not a consideration for our major corporations. They don't care about the value of the US dollar either. All they care about is current quarter profit and loss. Long range implications of their outsourcing, amnesty for illegal aliens and trade deficits? They just don't care.

Well, I'm never going to vote for a gay marriage promoting Rat such as John Kerry, so I have a problem. Are corporate donations driving the GOP's silence on outsourcing? Or are the Pubbies just plain dumb and out of the loop about it? That's what I felt after GW spoke yesterday and accused the antti-outsourcing people of being isolationists. How f****** lame!
