His demeanor is exactly right for this speech.
This office is aging him - I really see it tonight, he looks about 20 years older than he did last year. It happens to every President, it always stuns me when I see it.

He just said what I said at Easter to my liberal brother-in-law when he started telling us the U.S. has killed 10,000 Iraqis.
I said "We are doing a good thing"
(also told him we had done no such thing as kill innocent Iraqis in that number and on purpose)
Hurray! first question was about "is this a vietnam quagmire"
Pres says that "that kind of talk sends the wrong message to the troops and to the terrorists"! He wants th call it treason but is being pragmatic!

Bush just picks up when he talks about the war. The first part of the speech was weak, but the end was stellar. Really great.
