The commission investigating the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, has a critical dual mission to fulfill -- to help our nation understand how the worst assault on our homeland since Pearl Harbor could have occurred and to outline reforms to prevent new acts of terrorism. Under the leadership of former governor Tom Kean and former congressman Lee Hamilton, the commission has acted with professionalism and skill. Its hearings and the reports it has released have been highly informative, if often disturbing.
Sept. 11 united this country in shock and grief; the lessons from it must be learned in a spirit of unity, not of partisan rancor. At last week's hearing, Attorney General John Ashcroft, facing criticism, asserted that "the single greatest structural cause for September 11 was the wall that segregated criminal investigators and intelligence agents" and that I built that wall through a March 1995 memo.

Obviously she has no business on the 9/11 commission ~ no more than would Janet Reno or John Ashcroft.
Get her off of there; get her under oath; question her; find out just what her intentions, if any, really were.
For the Commission to end its work without dealing forthrightly with the Jamie Gorelick question will prove nothing more than that political street theatre works!

Many of the participants have been on talk shows explaining these public hearings are being held for the benefit of the public, so they can better understand what happened and why. My question to them is; if that is the case, why are the really serious details being discussed behind closed doors in the name of national security? If we are to be governed by informed consent we need that information.
The public hearings are nothing more than theatre to pacify the voters and to cover their tracks.
If you look into the background of most of the these players, they have been involved in one scandal/coverup after another for most of my lifetime. They meet behind closed doors, keep the facts secret, further their own careers in government and thus, maintain power in the political arena . . . the uninformed voters go to the polls thinking they are doing the right thing. If knowledge is power, they sure aren't letting voters share in it.
The dumb biatch just set herself up for the knockout punch. The Whitehouse has thousands of such memo's. That's what liberals do, they write memo's on top of memo's.
Wanna know what's funny about that? The "question" asked by the reporter at the lynch mob press conference--Gregory started out by saying (might be paraphrasing a bit here) "You never admit your mistakes" before actually asking the question about what mistakes he might have made.
So tell me folks. What mistakes has anyone from the Clinton administration owned up to? That includes Clarke, because while he "apologized," he cast the blame elsewhere. He did not admit to any specific thing he did, nor did he admit to any specific thing the Clinton admin did.
Bingo!! Let's look at her service at Justice and let's also look at her time at the Pentagon.
All of her "work" needs to see the light of day.

Because of the Reno cum-Gorelick departments efforts, Zacarias Moussaoui and others are living in the lap of luxury, using America’s generous justice system and tax dollars. And as has been stated, OBL and the terrorists are getting better protection than American Citizens.
