Well, it's official now, I guess.

At least I hope so; I'm still waiting for the call-back from the producer to lock down what part of the hour I'm supposed to be in.

I'm going to be appearing on FNC's Hannity & Colmes tonight at 9P ET. We'll be talking about a new release from Project 21 critical of Jesse Jackson; I'm quoted pretty prominently in the release.

Project 21 National Advisory Council member Michael King is scheduled to appear on the Fox News Channel's "Hannity and Colmes" program on Tuesday, April 27 at 9:00 pm eastern to discuss Jesse Jackson's recent criticism of the liberation of Iraq.

In comments made before and during a speech at the 21st Century Black Massachusetts Conference in Boston on April 3, the Boston Herald reports, Jackson condemned U.S. efforts to remove Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein from power. He called the U.S. liberation of Iraq "a crime against humanity" and said Iraqi deaths resulting from the actions of U.S. forces are "murder." He encouraged the United Nations to sanction the U.S. and consider the use of military force: "I'm not sure the U.N. has the power to act against us in a military way, but they have the right to make a moral judgment." Jackson also called on Congress to determine if President Bush's war policies are impeachable offenses, but said Congress itself bears no responsibility for the war, despite having voted to authorize it.

Jackson's statements were first brought to national attention by the National Legal and Policy Center, a conservative watchdog group that is urging Coca-Cola to stop making six-figure contributions to Jackson's organizations.

King said: "Jesse Jackson's motives have never been as transparent as they were with these statements. If anyone needs to apologize, it's him. He indulges his fantasies and delusions of grandeur by calling for Bush's impeachment and calling for United Nations action against us. But blacks are beginning to see the truth -- that Jackson's bluster is exactly that: all smoke and no substance."

Of course (as I watch the barrage of Fallujah) if events warrant, they'll see about rescheduling. But as of now, I'm planning on heading down to their studio later this evening. I hope my "mug made for radio" doesn't cause folks to run screaming or for the church bells to start ringing.

Now comes the "fun" part -- I've gotta tell my family & friends that I'll be on; I was on MSNBC's Scarborough Country last summer (as you can see above) with similar "last minute" notice, and caught six kinds of grief from my grandfather and several other folks for not getting to them in time...

Critique......

First of all, you have an engaging TV personna and look pretty good.

Secondly, they paired a rooky with a loudmouthed and really obnoxious ultrapartizen who had been there before.

Gentlemen don't interrupt but liberals always do. Like TrueBlackman said he hogged the segment to assure none of your points got through.

I hope the experience will challenge you to return someday and fight the good fight. We're all for you.
