The 26-year-old businessman's decapitated body was found 10 days ago in Baghdad.
His killing was shown around the world on the internet.
The poor quality website video showed Berg dressed in orange overalls kneeling on the floor with his hands tied back.
There were five masked men behind him. One read a statement urging Muslims to take revenge over the abuse of Iraqi prisoners by American soldiers.
The masked men then pushed the American contractor to the floor and shouted "God is greatest" above his screams.
His head was cut off with a knife and then held aloft.
The website said the execution was performed by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, a top ally of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden.
It is not known if he was among the four people arrested.

Nicholas Berg's headless body was found May 9 in western Baghdad. Three days later, a videotape posted on an al-Qaeda-related website showed him being decapitated by hooded men.
Berg's captors said the killing was to avenge abuses of Iraqi prisoners at Abu Ghraib prison by US forces.
That no members of the CPA has gone on record so far to confirm this story leads me to believe one of two things.
1- It is not true (Not likely IMHO)
2- That they are unsure of the people in custody really are related to the beheading, or don't want to release the info yet for other reasons.
IMHO if these people arrested are close to Zarqawi, they might provide VERY valuable intelligence that could lead to his capture. Letting the world know that these people are in custody could help Zarqawi get away.
I guess we will find out whether it pans out or not.

Frankly, I think the pictures have shown the media to be the partisan hypocrits they are.
Real Americans are not horrified at these pictures.

They could not get the French report confirmed is the reason they gave.
If it turns out to be true that that are captured, I guess we can't interrogate them for information because they may get upset. (sarcasm)
Exactly. Those who say we should teach respect for the law to murdering terrorists who live to slit our daughters' throats are fatally naive.

They will believe anything that is anti-Bush. You could make up any kind of story against Bush and they will believe it without any proof.
