Day in and day out, al-Katie Quric rattles the skeleton of the Abu Ghraib prison affair. In the middle of a war, Botox Nancy Pelosi calls the Commander-In-Chief incompetent, and Terry "The 18 Million Dollar Man" McAuliffe rushes to agree with her. Chappaquiddick Ted Kennedy bloviates about Iraq as "George Bush's Vietnam".
The Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) pull out all the stops to politicize the war, and defeat President Bush. They've run "campaign finance reform" over like roadkill, and are talking about jimmying their upcoming Boston nominating convention to beat the system.
Fine. You want to politicize the war, let's go for the gusto. In November, the Democrat media is planning to minimize the impact of the overseas military vote by downplaying it as much as possible, while DNC lawyers will invalidate as many military votes as they can. The Democrats are counting on the traditional veil of non-partisanship to descend over the military's position on the War On Terror, silencing any advantage our very competent Commander-In-Chief can derive from his war leadership.
I say, bring it on. Let's get the troops on record, in public, before the election. Using the Internet and Americans at home who really support the troops, we can find out what the people who volunteered to put their lives on the line think of their ultimate commander.
Otherwise, their voices will be stolen from them by the Democrats and their minions in the media, who have done everything in their power to sabotage and denigrate the brave men and women who have been fighting to protect our home soil.
If the troops would like to strike a blow against one of their greatest enemies, they could rob the Democrat media of their self-appointed function as "gatekeepers" of the American presidential election, and put a spotlight on those "Americans" who falsely purport to "support the troops".
They'd squeal like stuck pigs.
That about 300, bert? ;-)

Nice. Worthy bumpersticker slogan, also.
I'd say about a 314 opportuntty task....... but who's counting?
The proposal is worthy of the attention of all on Free Republic. Action like you have proposed is what will get the job done.
Just letting of steam won't accomplish any thing but self preservation. Action requires some effort....lets go guys.
I bumped Rag Time Cowgirl....... do you have any interest in this effort? Do you have friends among your military contacts who might like to send us comments?
