Communist Vietnamese Honor John Kerry, the War Protestor, as a Hero in the Communist Victory over the United States in the Vietnam War.
In the Vietnamese Communist War Remnants Museum (formerly known as the "War Crimes Museum") in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), a photograph of John Kerry hangs in a room dedicated to the anti-war activists who helped the Vietnamese Communists win the Vietnam War. The photograph shows then-Massachusetts Lieutenant Governor Kerry being greeted by the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Comrade Do Muoi.
Jeffrey M. Epstein of Vietnam Vets for the Truth acquired the photograph over the Memorial Day weekend as America was commemorating its military heroes. Epsteins organization, Vietnam Vets for the Truth, had issued a general request last week for photographs documenting Kerrys activities on behalf of the enemy. Bob Shirley, a Vietnam Swift Boat veteran (www.pcf45.com), sent the photograph to Epstein in response to that call. Shirley recently joined over 200 other Swift Boat in signing an open letter stating that Kerry is "...not fit to be commander-in-chief."

This story is another example of sloppy NewsMax reporting. Consider the heart of the allegation:
> Just then Kerry - in front of the school children, other visitors and Secret Service agents - brazenly 'flashed the bird' at Sampley and then yelled out to everyone, "Sampley is a felon!" <
Who's doing the relating here? We're not told. Sampley's quotes have run out, it's not him talking. This is simply the writer talking, and we don't know what his sources are. Where are corroborating witnesses? Or, for that matter, the attempt to get the other side of the story from the Kerry camp? NM really has to tighten up its standards. If they would do so they would have far more impact, as more people would come to trust them.

Thanks. That's one guy, at least, who's willing to sign his name to what happened.

That's just how Kerry reacts when he gets "Hanoi'd".

That "eye witness" account sounds 3rd party to me.
To: Carl/NewsMax
Carl, folks are clamoring for verification. Were there any witnesses? Can you please shed any light?
Thanks, Prairie

I'm not surprised to read this. Kerry is scum and makes one wish for the "good old days" of Clinton. Even Bill Clinton wouldn't have stooped so low as to flip someone off in public infront of school children etc.

You have to realize that John Kerry is in a bad mood these days. First, he is the invisible, non-candidate. Second, no one has any interest in him. I watched his movement and participation in the Memorial Day activities, and it was quite clear that he was not receiving a warm reception. All his campaign stops were lightly attended. I guess like the woman that accosted him at the Vietnam Memorial, most American people are learning that this guy is a traitor, and in fact, was directly responsible for the deaths of some of those brave Americans whose names are etched into the wall.

Well, I have a different take on this. As much as I dislike John Kerry, he has the right to go to the Wall as much as anyone. Unhindered/harassed,etc.
I am one of the original donor$ to this project known as The Wall. Also, an annual donor and at times, in between. The Wall must be maintained. At one time, some of the panels were cracking. Had to be replaced. A new light system is being installed. This Wall was built by Vietnam Vets and those interested in Honoring our Fallen.
Much info can be found @ www.vvmf.org
Anyone has the right to visit without being told "I am here to escort you away from the Wall because you do not belong here." An LEO could perhaps escort a malcontent or disruptor from the Wall, but Mr.Sampley was acting in no official capacity, assuming this whole thing happened in the first place. He, nor anyone else has such authority. The Wall belongs to us all...

What do you mean NewsMax has backed off? It's still on the left side where it was when I posted the article and I just did a disk cleanup and rebootedI stand corrected. Sorry about that.

Amazing - and he wants to be president? Regardless of what he feels - he has to maintain some sort of dignity in public. He is absolutely out of control. He is a child.
