Ok... I am only 37 going on 38 years old. So I have not seen or cannot recall many presidental funerals. But this one seems massive, is it more massive than other presidental funeral that have been in the past?

BTW... Nancy is just so sweet and petite, she seems so fragile and it just pulls on my heart strings to see her. I wish I could give her a hug! - May GOD bless her! -

I didn't catch it but others have said he may have been nervous due to a barking dog nearby.

I thought about that today.
I decided that I will have grieved more at the funeral of my granddaughter's hamster!

WWI, but you knew that. Anyone who doesn't know who Sargeant York was is strongly encouraged to see the film by that name.

I am pleased for the expression from the crowd so the media can't claim they just came out of curiosity or pro-forma. The applause and calls of "God bless you" demonstrate they are there affirmatively.

I cannot believe how quiet it is. I think that is a great signal of respect in this rowdy country of ours.

I am sure people have probably mentioned this earlier on this thread but this reminds me of kennedy- for those of you that lived that funeral how does this compare?

LOOK at all of the people. Wow. I can't wait for the flyover- exactly right for a man that loved the military.

They are riderless someone else said because traditionally they were used to carry supplies.
