That is what I'm saying. Before 9/11 shooting down a domestic airliner would never have been considered. They had never been used as weapons before.

The 9/11 panel is one worthless politically bias f'n POS hell bent on destroying GWB!

In that regard what the h*ll are they doing making a definitive statement that there is no ties between Al Queda and Iraq????

That isn't even part of their inquiry--proof positive of the political nature of this kangaroo panel.

Of course it's the headline in todays newspapers across the country.

If Bush had ordered planes to be shot down, the left would have gone insane!!!

The Left is already insane.

Fortunately, this "9-11" Commission has long ago been exposed as a laughingstock and a fraud. These "leaks" are just another way for these animals to grandstand and call attention to themselves so they can stay in the news.

I was replying to this.

It would seem that having 20/20 hindsight and being able to jump in front of a parade are the only necessary qualities. Oh, and a lack of any sense of shame wouldn't hurt either.

I've never sought public office because I felt I wasn't smart enough. It is increasingly clear that I had it back wards.

That's the quote of the day! Good work, Consiracy Guy!

The Hindsight Commission is in full swing, now.

A good laugh in the AM is always desireable, It might not be too late to run for office. However I have always contended the easiest way to get into politics is to just "buy yourself" some of them.

The government got it 60% right on 9.11.01. That's better than most days!

ROTFLMAO.

You have a quick shutter and a great sense of timing, being able to capture the precise moment things dropped!

I especially like the way you were able to get her to smile for the camera!LOL

This group of mental midgets has not one member who qualifies for being a judge of the circumstances surrounding 9/11,

We keep hearing what a great staff the committee has but if this staff can be characterized as great, GOD help us!!

May I offer a thought? Ok, we intercept the plane, shoot it down even? Then we have Dan Blather and the rest of the "don't confuse us with the facts" crowd who saw "Air Force One" too many times screaming "Could there have been another way?!?"

Sorry to educate these morons, but no, there wasn't. I hate to say it, but those folks on those flights were dead the minute those flight decks fell into the hands of the terrorists. The soultion is obvious, arm the pilots, we're doing that, but naturally, like many other things the feds touch, it's being mishandled.

And also, say we'd shot them down short of the WTC? Or the Pentagon, those are both fairly well-populated areas..derbis falling from the shoot-downs would have fallen on a lot of innocents in any event, so no matter what, the terrorists would have gotten what they wanted: Dead Americans.

The only way to prevent more of this is to nail the terrorists before they get near that flight deck. Once they are there, it's too late. That's going to take a single minded dedication to the problem, and that's why we have to support Bush in November, because I don't see Kerry doing it.
